Haha, my bad. I meant more like, 'well finished.' It's a nice solid job with no element being too overpowering.

I agree, its all looking really good chem. The green on the maul is really effective as well, gives a subtle suggestion of power without being OTT like so many power weapon effects.

I also love the bone coloured helmets, really make a nice focal point, as for the white cape on the commander I feel your pain, painting white well is a nightmare.

The tuning terminator does not do it for me. It's very well done, but I have a cultural bias against flaming paints...

On the other hand, the stone looking space marine is spectacular. Keep it up ! I wanna see a stone dread !

There are a couple excellent guys who have blogs here that do some great work in the more darker, muted Marines. Quite a few guys painting Raptors too.

Rob451 has probably one of the most badass Raptor forces I've seen.

Check it out.

I've had my Marines on hold while I've been playing Infinity. Actually sold a bunch too. But I still have a ton of bitz and cool models sitting around, and I'm going to start kitbashing some stuff soon. Not enough to make a full force, but to maybe play with some Inquisimunda ideas, and for little projects like the GMS.

Well done."
