I love the Cataphractii Terminators. They have a lot more character than normal terminators.

If you do happen to get more forgeworld models, like different marks of space marines, you may want to spread them around. It would add more visual niceness, and be to the fluff, as different marks were spread around.

By bolter and honour, by blood and fire, we shall cleanse this galaxy. By Vulkan, and by the Emperor, CHARGE!

Yo Dawgs, I heard you like grimdark, so I put grimdark in yo grimdark in yo grimdark in yo universe that is obviously grimdark.

I love the dirty, dusty, weathered look on the vehicles, and on the legs of the units - that 1st photo in your 2nd post is a cracker, not just in showing off the units but overall composition as well!!!

I like the models overall. I think the yellow needs something more - either wash or highlighting to bring it more...
The only other thing I think your base needs more too it.... Maybe some dead static grass or rocks of a lighter color, I would like a little color in there. Just my opinion. Looks very good over all.. Cheers man

IMO the green plasma coil doesn't really fit in the yellow scheme. Maybe you could try a purple/pink alternative.
Overall very nice cataphractii. Well done!

I like him. The terminator helmet adds a lot of character to it.

If you're going for a wasteland sort of look, maybe you should make the base just a bit darker, so it looks blasted and burnt.

Well, I just noticed, as I wasn't studying it too hard - dang, that is some beautiful wear and tear. It looks battered, yet good for ceremonial occasions. Barely.

I think you can see the paint chipping just fine. Particularly in the photo taken from the rear where there's less other details to take your eye. I wouldn't try to make it much more pronounced, I'd imagine it would be pretty easy to over do it. The way you have it now is, I would say, just about perfect. You still just doing it with the sponge and that one tone of silver?

Great, I'm glad it is visible and yes it is easy to over due but i feel i might try bringing the silver out a bit more. Also i still do it the same way but for this model i actually used Iron Breaker instead of Runefang Steel...
Im thinking adding a bit of Runefang Steel, what do you think?

Well i would like to apologize for my long absence, the holidays proved to be draining and once the holidays were over i had a leak in my 125 gallon aquarium. Well i repaired my aquarium and spend some ttime getting it back to its former glory. But now i have free time to spend on painting every now and again. Cheers, hope to be back with a great update soon. Until then my friends....
