That's just my old cheap computer desk, makes a great painting station with the upper level giving me a ton of extra room. What you don't see is the 5ft long work bench to he right of the paint/assembly station. That is currently my guard staging ground. I'll put a pic up later.

The construction will begin soon on my game table. Got a nice lightweight board, some cheap molding and 2ft x2ft squares of pink foam insulation. I am not sure how I feel about the insulation as there is a very slight bend to the pieces. I will have to see how I feel when they are all sitting in the table.

So today I went backto Home Depot for spackle and paint. Some things are just meant to be, I found an open container of Behr self priming zero VOC paint in grass green, color is called Happy Camper, and I am!

So I've been reading through the GK codex and I have to say I love the inquisitors and warbands and since I have a ton of guardsmen and 2 chimeras I don't use i figured I would make a little retinue that I can use as allies. Of course I will need Coteaz or a counts as, I have had his other inquisitor for a while and finally got a littl paint on him last night.

Here is an Inquisitor from the Inquisitor game. I don't know why on earth I bought him like 6+ years ago but I always figured I could turn him into a statue.

Finally just got my power back. It went out on Monday afternoon. Thankfully I had a generator to keep the house warm for my 2 year old. Unfortunately I had no excess of power to work on any modeling. Can't wait to dive back in his weekend. I hope everyone in he tri-state is doing ok. Things are slowly getting back to normal for most of us. When the power kicked back on you could hear cheers all around the neighborhood. A week without power really makes you appreciate the comforts of daily life.

Those are the old metal jump packs from 2nd edition era. Almost the same as Dante's just without the blood angels wings on the sides.

I recently just bathed some old RT marines I had in simple green (love that stuff). They are classic mini's but WAY too small to stand next to the newer edition marines. So what to do with them? Inquisitorial henchmen! I mean they are just regular men after all.. no gene enhancement. I also have a ton of Catachan heads that I never use (because I play Cadians). I need to scratchbuild some stormbolters in the correct scale and scrounge up some special weapons, not sure if they are gonna have plasma or flamers (burn heretic!)

So fluff wise these guys were rewarded for their valor in combat (after they saved an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor during a cleansing campaign) with their lives and a nifty albiet outdated set of power armor. They were the only survivors of the guard regiment that assisted the GK in cleansing a world infested with demons. Now they are utterly loyal to Inquisitor Zacharias Lexx (punn on my real name, see inquistor model above).

Using the RTB01 Marines for human powered armor...freakin' genius man. Genius. I'm stealing this idea for sure!

Henchmen update... its been slow going as I have had to make replacement parts for some of these guys. Finally the squad is almost fully together and getting some good paint on.

Badass Conversion work on the Henchmen

Now that I have a board I need to fill it with some decent terrain and since I didn't texture my board (at least not yet) I need terrain that is going to look half decent. I had 3 projects this weekend I have to say I am really happy with the results. Let me know what you guys think. All the terrain is in a playable state, but some still need drybrushing on the rocks and washes on the metals parts. I haven't detailed the lascannon power pack for the electric fence.

Continuing with the Inquisitorial Henchmen theme I present a plasma cannon servitor WIP, one more to go, wish I had a third sentinal PC, and also a Banisher or IG Priest with Eviscerator who has been dramatically reposed and kitbashed.

Stormsung - thanks bud, the inquisitor with the fur is Coteaz and he hills are easy peasy pink styrofoam insulation sheets from Home Depot. The hills you can make up in about an hour - hour and a half.

Thanks! It's a Sentinel's close combat weapon, I think the catachan model line used it.

Things have been slow going since school started up again. I have taken to building at night on the coffee table so I don't get aggro from the wife for not spending time with her (she likes company while watching The Bachelor). The good part is I have blown through a couple kits that have been sitting unopened since Christmas.

Here is a WIP of my storm raven. It's got about 4-5 hours in paint so far. Not sure if I am going to leave the canopy as tinted glass or do a metallic green since the whole thing is going to be done retro style '95 eavy metal.

I've done some highlighting and some cleanup, painted and washed the exhausts. All thats left is to paint up the lenses and apply some decals. What do you guys think of the canopy done is glossy black ? There is a white highlight line on the front canopy that is lost in the glare, it is visible in the gunners canopy.

I've needed a Marbo figure for a while and I knew when I did him he was going to be Rambo, not Marbo. So here is my WIP. Just waiting for the greenstuff to cure and then he's on to paint.

Just realized that I haven't put any hobby updates for a while. I played a game with a friend that I am helping to get back into the game and let me just say that he used my Marbo to kick my ass. So here is a pic of Marbo all painted up. I had put some varnish on his skin and hair since Rambo is always sweaty, no sure if I like the look , he may get a matt varnish spray at some point.

I'm back guys... Been a long time, been busy with school, my 3 year old and just plain tired.

I've still been painting and here is my almost complete knight TITAN. BA themed!
