The Deep Strike counts as having moved.
That is a good point. Thank you.

Just thought i'd make a point, not all flyers move 18" minimum. That is for supersonic flyers. There are flyers out there that aren't supersonic and only need to move 12 minimum. These flyers also tend to have hover.
Necrons cannot deepstrike their flyers, it was removed in the FAQ&Errata. I do not know of the other ones as I have no checked every FAQ.

This is incorrect. Supersonic is only for Flat Out moves. All Flyers must move a minimum of 18" in the Movement Phase.

Again, I would like to remind that many Forgeworld flyers exist that CAN Deepstrike.

You appear to not be working under 6th edition rules. 6th edition states that a zooming flyer MUST move at least 18" (combat speed) and CAN move 18 - 36" (Cruising speed)
Supersonic does not do what you state it does.

One question about DS Flyers.
I get all the fuzz about selecting a hover mode, deep striking Valkyrie in hover (cruisin´speed)
In Elysian thread is widely mentioned, that you can disembark from Valkyrie after Deep Strike. But my local rulelayer released a bit hell, that you can´t disembark after moving with cruising speed...nor gravchuting, because there is no point, that valkyrie moved over...

From the IG FAQ:
Page 56 – Valkyrie Assault Carrier, Grav Chute Insertion.
The first sentence should be changed to:
If a Valkyrie or a Vendetta moved more than 6", passengers
may still disembark, but they must do so as follows.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Yup, but there is problem, that there is no legal point "nominate the point, which Valkyrie moved over".

Directly under the wings is a point which Valkyrie moved over.
Not that it matters though as Valkyries can not DS anymore due to the FaQ that removed the DS rule.

Please read the thread again. Elysian Valkyries can Deepstrike.

But ork bombers don't deep strike, so they move onto the table from their edge and therefore can pass over units.

If the IA12 book gives the Elysian Valks the ability to deepstrike, yes you ignore the FAQ for the IG codex as it is a different and older book.
EDIT: This is only if you are using the list from IA12...Codex: IG Valks still cannot DS.

Yes. IA3E2 specifically allows Valkyries and Sky Talons to Deepstrike, as well as Avengers, etc. In fact, the Combat Drop rule specifically forces you to Deepstrike the selected Valks and Sky Talons.

Well that clears it up, I did not remember that IA3E2 was mentioned in the thread, because the thread was revived after two weeks gone and I remember contributing to the thread a few weeks ago, forgot that IA3E2 was mentioned.
Thanks for the clarification.
