Hey all!

So I decided to post here since my local GWS is closing down soon(They are getting rid of all their employees) and I do not know about any FLGS.



I am a fairly new player but not that new and I am looking for a new 40k group in the above mentioned cities!

18 years old but not obnoxious and loud, willing to discuss rules and can accept defeats!

Hope someone in the area sees this

Unfortunately, yes thats pretty far away, I just checked.
Perhaps if there can be enough of us, we can organise a big game or weekend to provide some actual value to travel between cities.

Just an idea...

Seems cool.

The first GW I ever visited was in Amsterdam right near Grand Central Station. The staff was always very friendly when I visited. However, I am not sure how long the train ride would be from Den Haag to Amsterdam.

A bit further away is another GW in Rotterdam that I had good experiences at. But then, I know nothing of FLGS in your area, all I know are the GW's my fiancee took me to when I was over there visiting with her family.

I've been to the Den Haag and Amsterdam GWs and they are both very friendly venues. No problems there. Been to Rotterdam GW also, no complaints there. They have an awesome display at the Rotterdam store too.

Personally, I've just never been much of a 'shop gamer' because it's just how I got into the hobby and it kinda stuck with me, although I've visited the Den Haag store 3 times already (for hours at a time) in the last few weeks and gotten friendly with the nice guys that work there. Good apples, no complaints.

There is a FLGS in my local town, but I have not visited yet so I have no idea if they have any groups, but according to their website there is no mention of community stuff going on so I'm just trying to start my own.
EDIT: It's not a FLGS, it's just a model shop, so no there is no community around it as far as I know yet.

Also, I live near Den Haag and work in Amsterdam so it's not that far, take it from me (Daily commute). Less than an hour direct from Amsterdam Central station to my local train station.

Understandable. I can't hate on you for actually preferring to enjoy your wargaming from your own home or in a club setting. I refuse to add the F to the LGS around where I live because I've had some mixed experiences there. It had gotten so bad I only buy things there due to the discounts they offer and have been getting coworkers in on the game.

Just another shout out to all those still looking, that I'm still looking...

This may be a horrible necro but I`m new to these forums, just got back into the game and wanted to add that I live in Leiden and will probably move to The Hague in the near future. Not much of a shop gamer either. I wouldn`t mind getting in touch with some people.
