Really not sure what to put down for this month. I've got two cats that make it difficult to get any modeling done. I'll have to lock them in the bathroom or something.

I'm going to try to at least get a model built this month. It might be Harry the Hammer or the WHFB Khorne Lord on Juggernaut.... or it might even be that super huge Slaanesh Chariot thingy.

I'll be lucky if I can get one tac marine built.

How about you folks?

1. Finish stripping and converting all my SoB armor
2. Finish stripping all SoB models
3. Prime ALL the things
4. Get at least one basic battle sister test painted

Get my 5-Nob Nobz Mob painted up to tabletop quality (or even, time permitting, my obsessive 'paint-the-hidden-areas' level of quality).

cool thread, have no participated in one before;

Here are my plans (of mice and men....);

1 - Assemble, prime, paint and base FW Tau HQ
2 - Assemble, prime, paint and base Shadowsun HQ
(completes tau HQ slot).
3 - Complete repairs on Tau XV15 suits (about 8?).
4 - Finish paint scheme on Vespid
5 - Basecoat Tau XV15 suits
6 - Complete Stormraven comission
7 - Finish necron terrain piece prototype

I mainly play xenos (tau, nids, necrons) but have a small marine army I use as a "loaner" force for random games. I also make a lot of terrain, and do some commissions here and there.

While my xenos armies were done enough to play (well, my necrons are still playing catch up after the new dex) I noticed that I had huge amounts of models not done, or just assembled/primerd (for example had 3500 points built, but maybe only 2000 painted to a table top quality, etc.) so I am trying to go back and just finish them.

I look forward to seeing everyone else's goals and progress!

1) Not go over my $200 budget (this is a monthly goal) for gaming.

2) Finish painting the interiors of my 4 rhinos/razorbacks, assemble, and prime the outside

3) Paint 1 warmachine model.

Paint 28 Fire Warriors

Convert/paint an Ethereal Objective marker.

Make/paint the DoW O'Kias model for my new commander.

The O'kias part is starting to suck. >.< don't think I will make another one after this.

I hope to get my Trygon and my Land Raider: Redeemer that i just got done by the end of the month

Sounds legit. What sucks is when you have to get all the dust out of every crevice so you can paint.

Increased work hours and tending to our new puppy have completely drained my hobby time for the past few weeks. If I can finish the 3 Boys collecting dust on my table (they're probably 80% done, already) and paint up the primed Nob to round out my trukk mob, that will be enough of a jump in productivity to count myself satisfied.

I'm finishing up Mr. Kantor today, I have a tactical/Templar squad, Land Raider Crusader, and a Chaplain that are all primed and ready to go... Now I just need to find a way to get them done before school starts on the 27th...

I managed to get my Deathwatch marine built. Now I just have to paint him. How is everyone else doing?

I'm doing okay so far. Got the bulk of the Sisters stripped and primed, got the last batch soaking now. Probably strip them friday.

Got about 12 of my girls done so far, really liking the paint scheme but Hera help me there's so much left to do...

Then make a thread in dakka for them and how I ll paint them.

I know I'm late to the party, but I seen this while making a deal with djphranq for some goodies...but my August Vows were/are:
Get the holes drilled in all current Space Wolves that are built. (Magnetizing Prep)
Get the 4 boxes I just bought assembled.
Get half them drilled.

I've got all my marines built, and holes drilled into their arm areas. I've also got a handful of weapons drilled...I've got 8 days of the month left...do I stop... or DO I MAKE MORE VOWS!

neither. you get a head start on the next project for the rest of august, then come back Sept 1st and make more vows :p

Ohhh, That's how it works. So I'm able to make September look 8 days better! lol.

Cutting it pretty close, but got all my goals completed. Although, I may go back and brighten up a few things. It's very hard for me to balance scary and rediculous (rediculous not being a negative thing).

1) barely made that one! Only spent $166. 100 of that was reaper. 1/3 of the remainder was Hasslefree. The rest was odd and ends at the game store. Mind you, even pop and food purchases from the store count under this budget.
2) I have the control panels painted, but I was going to airbrush the rest of the inside to get a great looking coat. Schedules didn't line up with a friend to have it painted.
3) I have 2 warjacks Base coated in blue and shadows/highlights about 75% done. Don't have any of the other colors I need to paint the rest of the models. I figure 2 mostly painted is better than one done.

No chance to finish anything, everything is packed up as I move tomorrow morning.
