NoseGoblin, I've sent you a PM

Being very tempted by these infantry, as well! The fact that they are tall is actually very good for me, as I use truescale (or even larger) marine models- so I'd actually be likely to put them on normal bases. But the thin bases are just genius for making them versatile for everyone

Congrats Mark, well deserved.
Here's hoping at least $100k (I know I will double my pledge if we get to the Mortis ;-)

The Mortis will be fantastic, and I do think this will get there... with the Chaos 'dex coming out, it's obviously a sweet Chaos knight model. And for folks wanting to use them for Iron-Core, it'll give them another "side" to fight against (i.e. Mortis vs Crusaders).

Personally, I'm pretty stoked for the upcoming stretches. 40K for the Capacitor Coolers, imo this really broadens the appeal of the model, and they're free! 45K for the accessory pack for the stormtroopers, which looks fantastic and is also free, and then 50K to unlock the heavy weapons.

I passed on Sedition Wars after feeling like the models would be too small for me to use as guardsmen (but again I've got true scale marine allies). These look really good for that role with the unhelmeted heads. So, more than likely I'll be pledging for "Git-some!" (3 20-man units) and some heavy weapons... if not more!

I totally agree on the stretch goals that are upcoming, while the capacitors didn't thrill me at first, I never liked the stacks on the back of my resin crusader. I think they look fantastic on the back of the mortis however. I haven't played 40k in years as I moved away from my previous game group and the nearest store was miles, all the groups around here were role playing, and I couldn't make time with family, school, and work. I'm buying big as soon as we close on the house were moving to, and my guardsmen I'll be from a world where they "grow em big". If anyone has a problem with that then I guess my kids are just about old enough to start playing nd I can wait.

No one will have a problem with tall guardsmen, Theophony. It's short ones you'd have to worry about

NoseGoblin, any chance of a small 35k stretch to grease the gears all the way to 50k (as then there will be a stretch every 5k up to that point)? Something really easy...

Congrats on hitting the goal!

Question on the mortis and 15mm guy. If (when) we hit those goals, will new pledge options open up for them or will they just be add ons to throw onto the current pledge?

I hadn't though about the mortis as a chaos-knight *facepalm*

This would look great with my chaos marines and daemons...

If Defiance games doesn't get it's act together soon, I could end up with a bunch of UAMC for sale. Mark, your marketing-fu is impressive.

Well, this thread has won me over. I'll be pledging for the 60 troopers when I get home, to help get us closer to those heavy weapons that I'll want to add once they unlock, too.

Lolz… my Marketing Fu is in some ways failing but as a single person juggling many tasks right now with an adverting budget of about $100.00 I think I am doing the best I can
You guys helping with the banners and cross posting to other forums is a HUGE help!

Not a problem- you're almost to 35K anyway, making it a moot point!

Putting my pledge in tonight to help it get there

Pledge added, sig updated . Will add to it once we unlock the heavy weapons, too!

As for marketing fu, you're doing fine . What always takes control of these is the viral aspect, and I see this one as about to take off. Tracking is pointing towards a great number right now, as well.

Any chance of a sig banner with the awesome unhelmeted model pictured here?

Spoiler:

Or alternatively, perhaps a rendered / action shot of the stormtroopers, like you have of the Crusader in its' sig banner (and have in the flyer for the acessory pack spoiler tagged above)? Might help draw in more folks

The Wargames Factory video from GenCon had a nice Crusader, I enjoyed how she did not hesitate one bit to talk about the kickstarter, it was refreshing not to feel competitiveness in her tone or demeanour.

So if Mark could start another campaign to buy his own machines, he could offer those at an even lower cost? I'm in. I don't need a living room. I could turn it into a huge Leviathan display room. :-)

Yeah but then I would need to rent a warehouse and hire shipping staff.... the price would go up Right now I have an agreement with WGF for the distribution end, as they have the staff and facilities to deal with this stuff I dont see the advantage in doing it any other way..
