The Texans have stumbled into the playoffs, lost the #1 and #2 seeds, and haven't shown any offense in the last 3 weeks...
It's not looking good for us.

Pat Shermur and Tom Heckert (head coach and GM of the Browns respectively) were also sacked earlier today. I liked Heckert, a lot of his later round draft picks have been performing well, and well.. Shermur actually showed emotion yesterday walking off the field, you could see the tears welling in his eyes, and they were decently red and watery during his press conference yesterday after the game. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be saying something like this in two years, knowing how our trends go.
And sorry about the Texans stumbling Kronk.
Though I am happy that the Steelers missed the Playoffs this year too, let that thought sink in a bit for Tomlin and gang

If I recall correctly, Seattle is a "better on the road" team aren't they? I mean their 7 straight wins at home are nothing to shake a stick at, but I always thought they were considered better on the road.

Historically we are not as good on the road as at home but this year with the changes the team has gone through namely getting Russel Wilson as QB we have gotten much better at away games.
I hope the Hawks skull stomp the Redskins next Sunday and then march through the rest of the NFC to the Superbowl.

While that's a perfectly logical assessment on the Broncs... however, the Seachickens seems to have luck on their side this season.

Whoops my bad, I feel that Atlanta is probably going to beat Seattle... thus my General Sherman and Atlanta reference... We'll see though. I'm not a huge follower of anything outside of Cleveland Football, but it could be interesting

The problem I see with Atlanta going to the Superbowl is the fact that they have a deplorable habit of choking during the playoffs.

And Peyton has had plenty of trouble with the Patriots, who they will most likely meet in the AFC championships, and the Patriots have had trouble on the road. Every team has these issues... we'll see, I feel like Atlanta is going to be Seattle, but remember, I also felt that the Browns were going to do much better this year than last year . Though to be fair, they did do 25% better than last year >_<

I knew that they Chiefs were going to fire the head coach but they kept the GM. WTF! The guy can't draft player, makes stupid trades and won't left his coaching staff do what needs to be done and they kept him. He must have a video of the owner dancing in his basement like the guy from Silence of the Lambs.

Are you talking about Banner? I'm sure that's less of a "taking Philly's castoffs" and more of Haslem, who was a minority owner of the Steelers, asking around the league saying, I'm looking for a guy that is x, y, and z. I thought Heckert was, couldn't remember, and didn't want to say it, lest I sound like an arse. Also the question of Vick was on the topic of sports radio guys last week. They were talking about Alex Smith (the qb from the 49ers) and Vick as possible Qbs... I don't see Vick coming here, mostly because of the Dawg Pound... that is until he would start winning games lol.

Ohh well 10-6 not a bad finish for the Bears.
Maybe if Cutler stays healthy next season, and the bears pick up a tight end that can catch, and a left guard that can block they will be in great shape.
I cant wait til the vikings drop the packers out of the playoffs next week.
I think the super bowl will be Bronco's and the Falcons
Either way there should be a few good games in the coming weeks.
Why did they completely fire Lovie Smith though
I mean his work with the defense was pretty impressive.
Not sure who I would like as a replacement as well
And whoever wins the redskins vs Seahawks game is the NFC champions to face Denver
