So... Which Legion colors should the new Chosen have in my army? I think blue/gold would be silly because they probably won't all be sorcerers.

Then again, my Terminators with MoTz probably won't be true Rubrics, so I guess blue/gold Chosen could be ok.

What do you think? Black Legion? Those new minis sure have great potential for even a simply black/gold scheme. Blue eyes in the armor... Yeah, I like that idea. Let's hear some input!

PS- Those helms..... Oh, man...... Those helms are perfect for Tzeentch.

I'm trading my Chaos away but keeping the Chaos Lord if my trade partner's okay with it. I really have no idea what I'm going to paint him, but I definitely want to. I'm kinda split between a Tz theme or a Khornate. Maybe even red and gold as prescribed in the starter itself.

The new models look great and honestly will look damn good with any color scheme for any of the powers.

Allied detachment? It comes with an HQ, plenty of troop choices and an Elite so you'd have a legal list no problem.

Well, CSM's can't ally with themselves... but I can certainly just throw them in the current list. Legal wouldnt be a problem-o I dont think!

If it's for a Thousand Sons army, then paint them Thousand Sons colours. I honestly think armies with different coloured units, for whatever reason, don't look great.

I totally agree, which is what has driven me to create this topic.

The more I see the chestplates and helmets, the more I think "yeah, a sorcerer would wear those".

Oh, how easy it would be to put a kopesh blade on the tip of that power maul instead of the mace.

Even as a Guard player I find those chosen nice. The cultists are either hit or miss, some look stupid, some kick ass.

The Hellbrute is absolutely terrifying.


IMO all but Power Axe and Lighting claws would look pretty bamf with TSons blue and Gold.
