In 5th edition, when someone blew up a raider of mine, the troops inside only took a str3 hit, is that still the same for 6th ed? I cant find a place in the rule book either way, doesnt mention what happens to open topped Transports if they explode besides the regular.

Any help i could get on this matter would be appreciated.

It was str 4 hits in 5th ed as well, but it was harder to find in that book.

S3 for open topped in 5th, S4 for close-topped.

Isn't it all units inside take a Str-4 and outside take a Str-3? I know orks have special rules though..

Great! Just found out my group has been playing 5th ed wrong! I've been rolling for S4 hits everytime my raider blows up... If only I knew this before 6th ed...

I thought Opentopped was str 3 inside and out
Close is str4 inside str3 outside?

Nope, S4 for all passengers (see p80 for general rule, no exception on p82 for open-topped vehicles).

But yes, S3 hits for the models outside.
