I do hope we get a flyer that is storm talon sized... so I can use mine as a count as. I have no idea where it'd fit points-wise, but that is for another thread.

Interesting page..looks like they're getting ready to launch soon.
I wish this was new, but it isn't. At least 6 months, maybe as much as a year ago, somebody else linked this same page. GW has placeholder pages like this for a few other things as well, I cannot remember what the others were for, but I will try to find that old thread linking to them.
That said, fingers crossed that we get a new dex in January. I really hope they get it out in time that I have a chance to learn the new book decently before having to play in a few events at Adepticon.

The amusing part is that the number is basically sequential with some bit of time or batch reference. So you know that all the 440XXX numbers were done at the same time. I.e. The BT, WH, etc so on were all done when they revamped the webstore last. Armies with newer releases (SoB, Necrons, etc) have higher numbers.

I'm thinking the DA flier will be larger, in between the Talon and Raven, sitting at the $66 price point of the Heldrake rather than the lower price point of the Small fliers or the high point of the Raven.
As for the page linked, when I go it has 2 blank spots, and 2 filled with the SM Landspeeder and the DA company Veterans squad.

They are when you have 2HP, open topped and things like Gauss and Haywire knocking around. Also seeing as the assualt cannon range is only 24" its puts you right in range of multi meltas and the like. Plus rear armour 10 means a bolter can open you up on the rear with 2 glances...

Well, they really have no scale for the price they charge for fliers though. The Necron Doom/Night Scythe has the same number/size sprues as the Heldrake. Yet the two are widely priced, even though you get the same amount of plastic in both boxes, which are also the same size. -ing GW and their pricing schemes....

That isn't fragile. If you get within range of a unit with Gauss Blasters or Haywire Grenades you deserve to lose your skimmer. You are so much faster that it's almost silly.

That isn't fragile. If you get within range of a unit with Gauss Blasters or Haywire Grenades you deserve to lose your skimmer. You are so much faster that it's almost silly.
