I m interested in buying a Malcador defender cause I really love how the model looks and it would lovely for my renegades army.
I wanna. Know what do you think of its rules and if it's playable.
I m gonna use it in casual games so i won't have problem with my opponents. I just wanna know what do you think of it and
On how much point game it can fit. I think it costs around 315 pts.

Well its a super heavy tank and as such is only useable in Apocalypse games normally.

I guess if your gaming group is cool with you using it then go for it.

I was asking for fluffy light apoc games like 3k per side with few imperial armor stuff.
Not apoc "heavy" choices.
And by the look of it it's not something that will make the difference. Tough i don't know what are the new 6th Ed rules with structure points.
Apart from that it's a demolisher with more heavy bolter and 2 LCs but with 13 Fromm armor. No big deal. And I think as I recall its side is 12.

That should answer some of your questions in regards to 6th edition and the super heavies

If your opponents have no problem with it; do it.

It's a pretty balanced tank, don't know the price though.

Op got the price about right.

Armour-wise it's worse than a russ and only has two structure points (although that's better than it used to be)

None of the weapons are especially powerful.

Thanks nuclear that was really helpful.
Yes it's pretty balanced and beautiful and I think it's price is around 78 pounds.
Don't know how much forge world charges for shipping.

Btw if you meant price=points cost I think it's 315 pts and additional 30 for two side LCs
For a total of 5 heavy bolsters 2 LCs and one demolisher cannon.
Nothing overpowered IMO.

I've been using the Malcador MBT in 1500pt games with no trouble, and only a little apprehension. I maybe able to use it in the local tourney as well.

However I do not use the LR, and this does set a certain balance.

Malcadors are fun, and I have had very good feed back from opponents after games about the tank.

I would say give it a shot.

Thank you sir, I don't think it has any over powered weapon. And it can be used instead of a demolisher.
But apart from what it is, it will be a beautiful add to my traitor guard.

Your a little late to the show there Frakhead, I posted that link about 6 posts above yours. I can see your fairly new here, but it would be wise to read the thread a bit before posting a reply.

Welcome to Dakka
