"Gave" American TV producers took the original British version and made crappy versions... everyone knew they were gonna be crappy. That said i don't know why they didn't just use the original ones that were aired in Britain... I guess British shows don't translate to America as well as American ones translate to Britain...

Hey, what are you talking about, the maxxie episodes of American skins had far more depth than the british ones, a cheerleader (that's the character they got to replace him with, right?) is going to bring up the same issues as...well...maxxie. Right? It'll be just as good an episode, and it won't include any of that undesirable, (remotely) edgy stuff that the show was actually good for.

Ricky Gervais was involved in bringing The Office to the US and is an Executive Producer. The show won quite a few awards and did well in the ratings until Steve Carrel left. It is even shown in syndication in the UK. It is neither stolen nor crappy.

The Office is idiotic (US version). I think it's Steve Carrell's worst gig ever-I tried watching an episode with roommates, said it was dumb and was told "you need to see it from the beginning." I tried watching it from the beginning, hated it, and was told "you need to get into it to like it." If I can't watch middle episodes, can't enjoy starter episodes, feth it. It's worthless. Also, glad Jersey Shore is over. The Situation needs to be shot.
