Would have been far funnier if a mod had done it, just to screw with the guy . But I do agree firefly is not the best series, too many ideas getting thrown into one mixing bowl. That said I still think Whedons awesome.

"Gave" American TV producers took the original British version and made crappy versions... everyone knew they were gonna be crappy. American TV looks at successful TV from other countries because they lose a lot of money if they give a slot to a new show and it under performs. They have an audience about five times the size of the UK.
The US Office is a great show. I'm glad they changed it, there's only so much Ricky Gervais you can take. He also makes a ton of money out of the US version so I doubt he's worried that they "took" it from him.
Right, I once knew someone from as close to Newcastle as Gateshead who objected to being called a Geordie.
...actually that picture looks like it was taken in Gateshead....?
