If Yarrick is unkillable because the Orks thinks he is, and if they believe red vehicles go faster.
Holy crap.... I have never thought of it that way! That is brilliant.

This would probubly only happen if they were fighting Orks, or an Ork was driving.
But I might be wrong.

Genetor Anzions theory is not really valid IMO. That's like asking a biologist why my car won't start.
You have clearly NEVER read the Ork codex.
I have read it. Give me a page number.

BOOM! There's yer proof! I don't understand why you want to destroy the fun of orks by saying stuff like that Gargantuan, it's fun, it fits, it's awesome.
I personally love this idea. But by that theory, the Orks believe that Yarrik is invincible/immortal. SO that would explain why he is so old, and so good at fighting still
Von Chogg
I don't think Anzions theory works very well. There's much evidence of ork tech working fine in human hands (humans in Gorkamorka and Armageddon Ork Hunters)
I think the Waaagh energy has a small effect on material stuff, like making ork guns less likely to jam or making red unz go fasta, that's both fun and cool. What I don't like is people thinking all ork stuff only works because of the Waaagh energy and that it has such a power that it makes Yarrick invincible. If it works like some of you think then every single time Orks achieve something you can say Orks are just stupid creatures and "magic" is the only reason they succeded.

I color coded the obvious part that shows the power of the WAAGH. Orks are present there.
Orks believe their weapons work flawlessy. You work out the rest.

Orks being unable to kill Yarrick because they believe he is invincible is not the same thing as Yarrick being invincible. The ork's belief wouldn't have any effect if Yarrick was fighting Necrons for example.

As I understand it, that's not quite right. Ork tech sort-of-works without the Ork belief field, but doesn't work very well or fails quickly. It needs the power of Orkiness to be in anyway reliable. (At least that seems to be the Ad-Mech theory as espoused in some editions of the Codex and the BL/ FFG stuff.)
100 Orks can't paint the word 'spaceship' on a log and expect it to fly. They can build a space rocket and not worry about the lack of high quality parts or materials though. Orkiness fills in the gaps, but it isn't magic.
And Yarrick has to constantly prove to the Orks he's as tough as his legend. Orks are built to fight and challenge; they're always going to challenge him because he's the toughest humie there is. The Ork field works for Yarrick, but it still only helps him be the toughest humie. And Orks are bestest.

Their belief is why weirdboyz power waxes and wanes.
Some one told me once that they can use eldar weapons too because they believe it will work. If its true im interested in how far the limits of this go like if you tell an ork that this shiny button here (not attached to anything) blows up buildings at random then dose it ?
Or dose it need some thing to actually work like say a energy weapon of some kind that can shred a tank but needs AAA battery's to work and dose it have to be a lot or only one.

You brought it up, and I just HAVE to share this loota I built lol (the right one)
I think the waaagh-field significantly aids the functionality, but there has to be some "base" weapon.

Well, the Ork Waaagh field may not be limited to or require an immediate ork presense. As long as Orks believe in Yarrick, Yarrick will exist.
Doesn't matter if only Necrons are around, the Orks know Yarrick is alive and they believe he is unkillable. Therefore, he will remain alive.
Orks bring plot armor to a whole new level.
