Well my merry bunch of traitors are new to the whole heresy thing so they'll be supporting someones chaos force. If any chaos warlords would like some fire support the Herisian Dominion Traitors( HDT for short) will answer the call.
The HDT's main objectives are to slaughter or capture a planets workforce and force them into slaving for their chaos space marine commanders.
Let it also be known that HDT hereteks have created several tactical nukes to deliver into population centers.
HDT tacticians believe that an atomics strike at key refineries on the Mining world of Korsk will significantly reduce the output of the Perdus forgeworld.

My brother (playing MY chaos space marines , oh well) desires to be placed in the Dagon system to try and prove he is a better commander than I. The poor fool...


Anyway, his (MY) army is the following:

Chaos Space Marines, Dark Malice, Anton Diezo, Bane of the Imperium, Disorder

Has ~80 PA marines, 17 Termi's, 2 hellbrutes, 40 cultists, 1 DP, 2 Oblits, 6 bikers, 1 rhino, and I think that's about it.

Yeah for sure, I imagine some people won't want to post all over the place. To each their own.

Not everyone wants to try new boards etc.

Me, i'll try almost anything once, especially if it cuts down on my workload

haha yeah, I just figure some people won't want to wade through 100+ posts for info so it makes things a bit more orderly for the disorderly ones.

But wading through all the crap is just part of the experience. To keep it easy Daemons don't really care where they deploy so Ascalam feel free to deploy the Sirenic Warhost anywhere for maybe the entirety of this campaign.

AKA, I've got a small ork army, maybe a 1,000pts tops. I can run IG allies with them though to raise my points up to 2k or so if need be. Don't care where I'm deployed, just send me where I'm going to get the best fighting

Also, if it's cool, I'd like to run my IG army for disorder as well as a pirate force. Is there way that I can play games with them to help contribute to the campaign, without them being chaos possessed guardsmen?

Instead of chaos guard they can be affiliated with the Orks (freebootas) as pirate 'oomies

It all adds in to the same totals either way.

Perfect! I'll have to ally the IG with my orks quite a bit at higher point totals so that would work great for me.

Plus, I saw just how many people are on the order side, and realized that disorder needs my help more than the order guys do

Unfortunately there's a LOT of Marine players out there... It's almost as if they had more codexes than we do ...

Disorder is running four codexes : Orks, DE, Daemons and CSM (plus a few traitors)

Order has eight.. : IG, SOB, GK, BA, SM, BT, DA, CWE

Other has three: Necrons, Nids, Tau

It's a rigged deck, numberswise, but one thing the Order guys lack that's vital is a good sense of fun. All four Disorder factions know how to enjoy their work

Maybe when the final numbers are hammered out, the organizers should come up with a system to make up for the disparity.

That kind of crap ticks me off. GW did that any time they didn't get a result they wanted.

Each "other" faction has its own goals, Tau interfere with both order and chaos, tyranids consume planets and necrons work to build a giant deathstar.

And no Ascalam you dont need to worry about that

I played in eye of terror too, GW should have let cadia fall imo.

Huh? When did this happen? I never knew GW tweaked the results of their campaigns, although it wouldn't surprise me if they did...

They're in the player's packet. There are 4 systems and somewhere between 20 to 30 planets available to deploy on. Has our general figured out where he's going to start deploying players yet? I think we have enough to get at least 2 commanders per planet. We're outnumbered 2 to 1 against order alone from last I checked, and I believe we're equal in strength to the "other" forces. So that means we're in for a tough fight...

Asclam I feel sorry for you mate. I have 1 system of (other) and im starting to feel this is going to be a ton of work you have all 4 for the larger (disorder) army.

Just fyi I may drop the red waaagh on a planet but since Ill be doing the WZ commander thing they likely will not be doing much

Not a problem.

It's going to be a gackton of work, but it should be fun too.

They've done it several times. The campaign players were told that the campaign would shape future fluff, but GW already had decided the results

The Eye of Terror campaign had Cadia fall, but it was decided that it shouldn't

The Emperor karl-Franz in WHFB was beaten in a campaign (forget which) but miraculously won instead.

I think there were a couple of other occasions.

I prefer to post solely in the new board. I'll still post here if necessary.

I'm compiling a list of armies and destinations on my laptop, and will be checking both forums for new data as we go along.

Well, not a lot of people know about the dis order forum.

I guess you can say we're a bit disorganized at the moment

We need to advertise it more. The other faction seems to be doing a good job of getting the word out about theirs.

Also, do any of the other ork players want to deploy together as part of a large WAAAAAGH to attack a single system. I think it would be neat if we picked one system, trashed it, and then moved on to the next one, like what a real WAAAAAGH would do.

If any of you guys want to spread the word, please feel free.

I have quite enough to keep me occupied at present creating the campaign roster and tracking program.

I'm willing to band all ork players into a king-sized WAAAGH if they want.

If i can get the guys together i'm going to be running a Planetstrike-based Apoc game at 85000 pts, (orks vs every other Order fether), but right now it's very up in the air.
