It is unwise to base one's behavior on cliche phrases. Mostly because they arent truely a valid excuse for anti-social behavior no matter how hard someone wishes they were.

You know, this whole thread is pretty amusing. I start off with a comment that's essentially "make your opponent suffer one of the worst designed and least fun rules in 6th until they ragequit", and somehow it turns into a claim that people can magically tell that a list is made for slow playing just by looking at the list. And, despite multiple requests for them to do so, they refuse to explain just HOW they can tell. But I guess we're just supposed to trust them, and sucks to be you if you get banned because some random judge doesn't like your list?

Anyway, let's look at how slow play is handled in MTG, an actual competitive game (unlike 40k):

Slow play is defined by the time spent on each action in the game. IOW, if you take 15 minutes to decide what card to play, it's slow play and a judge will assign appropriate penalties.

Slow play is NOT defined in any way by your choice of deck. A deck that wins in 50 turns is exactly as legal as a deck that wins in 5 turns. A deck that requires casting a long sequence of spells is just as legal as a deck that drops a few creatures and attacks. As long as the player is performing actions at a reasonable rate, each deck is treated exactly the same.

And you know what's funny? MTG doesn't have a problem with slow decks, probably because the people who run tournaments actually know what they're doing. I wish I could say the same about 40k...

You are aware that you kind of called this upon yourself by making this thread right? I don't mean to insult you, but almost all threads like this devolve rapidly into an argument.

Wait, I made this thread? You mean I have an entire second account that I haven't been using??? I've missed so many opportunities for trolling!

It is of no surprise that a thread entitled "How to break Warhammer 40,000: 6th edition" turned into a complete flame-war.

This is silly guys. Let's get back to discussing some incredible combos and great synergies discovered with 6th, and it's recent FAQs, not yell at each other like prepubescent children.

I have discovered that since my CCB is now a little less useful for sweep attacks, that I am able to use him to support my wraiths/DLord. He moves 6, disembarks 6 and he joins the killer jump-packers just before they launch the assault. He has become the difference maker, because having 5 or 6 wraiths paired with two HQs, especially tooled up for combat, makes that unit great. And the CCB can do some RAM attacks if there is a need for a few extra STR6 hits.

I know it's not the best example of "breaking" 40k, but I'm trying to get useful dialogue started here.
