I can't express how happy I am that this line of models doesn't speak to my particular aesthetics. It means I wont be down another several hundred dollars and months of painting time.
I really do appreciate how well sculpted they are though. Top quality work. Just not my cup of tea.

pretre not to take sides but I think the 2 wound chosen terminators needs to be on stand-by because maybe it's an addition/upgrade in the actual codex that WD does not preview... To be fair.

I completely agree.

The cost of 3 new units and codex is about the same as a new army.

Why is GW trying to make everything so big? If I wanted to play with action figures I wouldn't by a $70+ model... I'd spend $15 on something by Todd McFarland.

I'm extremely disapointed in the hardcover rulebook idea. I doubt they plan on making a "mini codex" without all the unimportant artwork and streamlined army rules.

If overpriced hardcover books are the way of 40ks future.... I think It's time I moved on to Warmahordes. Anyone need an Ork army? WoC army?

I believe Veterans of the Long War is a rule on the Chosen and Termies on that Elite page scan. The only special rule on those units.

I look at the FNP Slaanesh icon.

I look at Nurgle 'Fear' icon.

I am disappointed.

I actually think that part makes a bit of sense. FNP has always seemed more Slaaneshi anyways. +T and Fear seems very nurgle-y. Zombies, after all.

That doesn't make sense. Slaanesh enhances senses, Nurgle dulls them...

I don't even care who gets what but I wish it were consistent. It's silly that the chief ability of a Cult unit also appears as an Icon ability of another god and the buff ability of an undivided Apostle.

Yea I don't mind, as long as they take the appropriate price changes of course. Only one bad result for the D66 rolls is awesome as well.

If Lucius is still a challenge beast, imagine how insane he'll get after calling out a couple sergeants.

Especially if the weapon that prevents them from refusing challenges is true. And those warlord traits are awesome, and I didnt see a single spell that would be bad. an

It would appear from Tasty and BG's "rumors" that Ahriman has the CSM Warlord Trait that lets you infiltrate d3 units.. Just trying to put 2+2 together.

and I'm ok with that.
