On the comments for the FW link to the video on facebook: 'Just to reiterate that we expect to have ample stock at Games Day, but we aren't taking reservation orders for the book or any of the other items we're revealing in the next week, because we can't guarantee to have the stock available to fill the orders.'
So lots of models to be shown next week, and for everyone asking, the releasse date id GD UK.

They will be available at Games Day, but that is not the official release date. I'd like to know when I can order it from website. Not going to GD. I've never got any IA books in the past, but this is something I would be interested in.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

Well, in the 31st Millennium, Tyranids have not yet eaten the Squat homeworlds.

Therefore - FW Squat Land Train! You heard it here first

Thinking of taking out a loan-budgeted for this and the csm dex, (assuming HH will be less than £50),but now I already want jetbikes(even though thy are a tad phallic) for Raven guard(hate marine bikes) and desperate for Old morty.I'm gonna really piss the wife off.

For some reason, I don't think so.

However I'm weak on the Horus heracy and wondered if Eldar may have played a part, Even if small. And I have not followed the new tau heritage story, though to involve some tau aspect would be much more heratical than squat land raiders dumping IG hordes, with boogie boards in the background.

Eldar have had a bit part in a few of the HH books. Eldrad even made an appearance in Fulgrim.

But Alan said in the video that this would be centered around Istivaan III. Those Space Marines that were loyal to the Emperor were fighting humans that had rebelled against the Imperium when Horus betrayed them from orbit. There were Imperial Guard super heavies and titan in that battle. I don't recall any Xenos being involved. However, many of the humans on that planet had "odd" weapons that could have been Xenos in origin. I think I am recalling this correctly. It's been a year and a half since I read that book.

Me neither.

Also, GW has changed the spelling of 'That Planetary System" a few time, I think...

And... this series of books is what will force me to play 40K 6th, as 40K 6th by itself wasn't going to make it happen for me!

There could also be dark eldar getting a small part, they are one of the salamanders oldest enemies and they're in one f bl's short stories.

The only ones that can't be there are Tau, necrons and nids. Tau hadn't been bourn or whatever, necrons are still asleep and nids are still coming

There were also lots of xenos that got exterminated during the great crusade and then after then heresy, so they might make an appearance. Give FW more chance to add more species into the universe.

Exactly!

Time to leave off discussions on Alan's presenting skills, please.

Back to more Pre-Heresy goodness!

I also hope they do a "Great Crusade" book some day - that way, everyone can certainly attend the party!

Not to hijack the post but FW also upped their prices. Storm Talon is now 10 GBP more than earlier this week. Darn! I should have bought it when I had the chance.

I guess they are really expecting higher sales with this release across the board.

Funny, I like the Jetbike best of the bunch... and I never cared for the idea of Space Marine Jetbikes.

I think its the more "steampunkish" look they are going for compared to the gaudy-gothic Sammael-jetbike. I really like it!

You could just wait for the actual Custodes models, which I'd assume are coming...

Talking about future books in the series.
A vast slew of the armies and forces that made up the founding of the Imperium are all involved.

Mechanicus and Custodes ahoy!

The potential for these books is mind blowing, I cannot wait to see what they are hiding from us.

I also cannot believe that people are finding fault with the nice chap in the video. He comes across as genuinely interested in the book and a friendly guy, what more do you want? Do you want a fething scripted Hasbro toy commercial? Jesus wept.

Ha!

Better read up on the New Background material - the Legion were all over the place.

Just not always in their own colors!
