I am very excited for the kickstarter to go live.

The Kickstarter is live!

If you go to www.endlessfantasytactics.com, you will be redirected to the kickstarter page for the drive. There you can see all the different prize levels, an introduction video by Heath Foley, artist for On the Lamb Games as well as some awesome artwork, and maybe some new sculpts that we haven't seen yet .

There are lists of the stretch goals as well as early bird specials for people getting in on the kickstarter.

I just joined in the kickstarter. Quick question, this may be answered but I'm on my phone at work so sony have the ability to peruse at leisure, when can we expect to be able to get the pdf rules?

We're hoping to have a bare bones version of the rulebook pdf out to backers immediately after the Kickstarter ends, this will be the full rules but will just short on things like fluff and art, as a big part of the Kickstarter is to fund the art production. Once all the art is in we'll send you an updated PDF that will match the print version, this PDF will be in your hands before April.

If you haven't already, make sure to grab the Quickstart Rules.

A quickstart/preview version of the rules are available as a link on the kickstarter. (It goes through our shop, simply so we can track the number of downloads)

Pledgers will be getting a more detailed version of the rules as well, the link has not been made yet so look for it over the course of the project!

Amusingly, Early Knight is a much better discount than Early Thief (or any of the higher ones). Assuming you can add chests for $50 to any pledge, there's no benefit to pledging higher than Early Knight (until those run out).

I have the quickstart, just wondering when we get through the salad and into the steak.

At this time, the 40 dollar pledge level seems like the best buy, but like we've seen with other kickstarters such as the Reaper Bones kickstarter, once stretch goals start being reached, the better buys starts to be the Dragoon and Cleric boxes. Though if you look at it like how you stated. The Early Knight + x number of 50 dollar pledges isn't always the best. for 40 + 50 you get Early Thief, for 40 + 150 you get Early Dragoon + 10 dollars, and 40 + 250 is twenty dollars more than Early Cleric.

Remember, On the Lamb is trying to fund the game, so we can all have it in our hands

I too wish for steak instead of salad, but I'm sure the OTL crew is working their butts off trying to get the rules finalized and ready for print.

Ah, right, I was looking at it as EK saving you $10/chest vs all the others saving you $5/chest. Eventually the $5 adds up.

Adding to what Alf mathmagiced up, While the Basic Goal up to $100k add to the Crystal Chests, and enhance them for everyone, as we go beyond that there is only so many models we can add to each pledge tier. Knight will get a few more beyond a Crystal Chest, but not as many as Thief, and Thief won't get as many as Dragoon, and so on.

We've got a lot of stuff planned, and with your help we can get to it!

I love both these sculpts. Bob Naismith is a beast. I love the very JRPG look to both of them, and love how the Squire isn't just eye candy. Top notch IMO

I agree with the above. The sculpts are tasteful, have character, and stay true to the influences for the game. They still have their own little unique touches though.

The Squire may be my new go to character for RPGs. Such a great sculpt!

Also, now we know we have Rhapsodist to add to the list of character classes.

I love the cuffs on the Squire, very much like Zidane in FF9.

Can I build a party of, say, Squire, Red Mage, White Mage and Black Mage?

There aren't red mage, white mage, and black mage. The list of classes are in the post above yours.

You could say build a party that consists of a Squire, Cleric (white mage), Sorcerer (Black Mage), or based on the sculpt I'd probably say the Adept (even though it looks a little like Vivi), and maybe... the uh... Rune Fencer (based on the name?)... Those are the only two that really seem to bridge that gap between white and black mage.

Rune Fencer is fairly close to being a Red Mage.

I'm loving this list! Really excited to see that Dwarf Gunsmith and Earth Troll! I just pledged at Dragoon, and am really looking forward to updating this page several times a day.

A few question though:

Is it possible to get a set up banner link so I can advertise this in my signature/ my blog/ facebook gaming groups?

Also with the 10$ extra miniature feature, can you only add miniatures that have been unlocked, or is it any miniature from the list of stretch goals(I would assume that it would only be miniatures that are unlocked)?

Edit: Had to switch to Cleric level, assuming all the boxes are unlocked, I couldn't just pick 4, too much cool stuff!

You can gank the signature banner that Cy and I are using for EFT, that is designed to fit on Dakka.

Thanks, since we're averaging around $1k an hour (and it hasn't hit TTGN or other news sites yet!), we've chained Heath to a desk and have him working on stretch goal art, we'll get that posted ASAP!

Only miniatures that are unlocked, same with adding extra Crystal Chests.

Awesome, I can't wait to see what he comes out with! Great! I posted some traditional links in some of my gaming groups, but I can't wait to get a rad new avatar and a banner.
