6 Valkyrs is only a few!?! I just got into Brushfire at Templecon, and your army was a tad intimidating to see.

In my defense, I meant "a few" because 3 of my Valkyrs were on Catyr's side of the board

But Wehrkind is right, I'm a bit of a hoarder and like to have enough to run "any list". It's a curse

Next one will be Nevsky with 15 hamster bodyguard, 15 more hamsters to trebuchet across the field, 3 trebuchets with crew, and 4 kiwi bodyguards for the hedgeknight (200 resource)

Next year we should throw down the largest battle seen to date in the Brushfire universe... Your Vandalands vs. my Aquitar!

You should probably take the discussion of such an epic, fluffy, battle in another thread... since this is the EFT Kickstarter one.

Sorry about the derailing (again), but... That's so cool! I haven't reached that part of the book yet, so I had to read ahead a bit. Battle Ball FTW!

Back to Endless: I've seen that 83 pledge managers are left to be completed. Are those sent out already, or are they still sent in batch?

They *should* all be sent out, but some people might not have noticed they have gotten it.. or are waiting for some more WIP pics to be shown.. or something.

Just a word of advice to them/you about getting people to notice emails.

Don't use hello@backerkit.com as your email... With gmail it displays everything before the @ as the sender so all I see initially is hello, and I usually avoide emails like that.

Yo dawg! I herd you like squinting at pictures of master models! So I posted some pictures of masters so you can squint like a model master while looking at master models!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I liked that that second image before Google showed me the bottom...

Now I like it a lot!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Just to be clear, I picked that partially because she is squinting, and also because the two lasses on the left seem to be staring at the priestess, the archer with some shock and disgust, not because these models gave me, or are likely to give you the clap.

I'm not sure I like the archer, the pose seems weird. Although I'm willing to put this off until I see it mounted to something.

I really like the other two models though. The one in the middle reminds me of my Fable 3 character.

The archer pose is weird to me, simply because it's based off of Noah's art, and after the first five classes (Knight, Sorcerer, Archer, Dragoon, and Cleric), we switched to using Heath's art.

I thought there was a green of it somewhere :(

Though I'm sure if you traipse through this thread you'll find it.

Edit: FOUND IT!

I'm not a fan of the pose on the archer, I see some cutting in my future.

I think it's a cool "action pose." Kind of captures the run 'n' gun playstyle.

Those masters look fantastic. Looks like these models will be pretty easy to assemble. That's a big deal for me.

It's spelled "cavalry." NOT "calvary."

The archer is actually pulling the "archer" body building pose pretty well, which is funny. I was thinking about it myself, and figured that if you wanted variety it would be really easy to just mount her such that her back (right) leg is up on a log or a rock. It would make her much more vertical, and would still have a nice actiony pose.

This is something we were aiming for with Endless, the figs will generally only be 2~4 parts.. just requiring you to glue on an arm or something.

No 22 part kits.

The mentality actually altered development of the game a bit too. Waaaay back in early development, weapons were item cards that you equipped to characters, which led to the notion of 'types' of weapons each class could hold, and thus extra bits for classes. It got unnecessarily complex, and away from the simplicity we wanted for the miniatures.

Thats probably what I'm going to end up doing. I really like the archer, I just don't like how far back the model is leaning.

Ooooh you could also model her to be dodging an arrow coming at her, or an ax being swing by a model off screen!

I know I have been aiming for "death by rules questions induced stress headaches" myself. Next plan is to start using strychnine as a mold release agent...

So when you see Emily unboxing models wearing rubber gloves, you will know why

I put a lot of blood, sweat and curses into every model. Well, mostly blood, at least till summer gets here.
