So I got a copy of the beta rules and we're going to give it a shot. It looks pretty fun, and will definitely break up the monotony of 40k. I plan on making a modular board of 5x5 tiles with these http://www.eaieducation.com/Product/531024/Color_Tiles_Plastic_-_Set_of_400.aspx. They are 1"x1" colored tiles, 4mm thick, and you can get 400 for $12.95 USD, which averages to 26 levels on a 15"x15", so there will be plenty to spare for making more floorplan options.

Here's what they look like.

I can't wait for the full rules.

Those look good, I just wish they were a little thicker! But you can't beat the price.

Yeah, not far at all.

And as a reminder, we'll be running demos of Endless at The Warstore Weekend next weekend. Daniel Fokine (Sculptor) and Jennifer Letts (Painter of the 'Endless Colors' reward level) will also be in attendance for part of the show.

Here is a picture of a fantastic game board by a backer. I believe he may post on Dakka. If so, I hope dear sir you will forgive my impertinence for showing it here... it was too cool not to share!

Any way of putting some of those individual figures up for sale on the KS page?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

On The Lamb Games answer to that question in the Kickstarter comments:
On The Lamb Games wrote:You can get individual models by choosing Adept (or higher level) and then adding $10 per figure, or you can get the Crystal Chests which are sets of models that get more models as we increase in pledges.

I did that board. Happy to see that other people like it. I do not mind at all the reposting, I'm mostly a lurker here.

I have a further pic of the board during a demo. I know the colours are different on both pics, but it's just the lightning.

So are there going to be some other types of maps, or boards that are going to come with the game?

Or should we start putting those types of boards together? What type of bases are these figures going to come on? (Slotta bases, 40mm rounded ones, no base?)

Are those squares 28-32mm? or are they 25? for the bases?

as for adding to that pledge stuff, I already pledged for one, how are you supposed to pledge for more when you are supposely getting a gakload of the boxes?

I'm talking buying a guy or something for like 5 bucks or so, or giving me some sort of incentive to spend some money here, beyond the base pledge. If I were to pledge for more, how exactly does that work when there isn't much more I'm going to need, except a few more guys to add in those crystal levels. Is there something I'm missing here? Those sets are like two or three guys there. that doesn't seem enough to make a ten point or crystal army with. And what happened to the Bosses? wern't we supposed to be seeing some bosses? What sized bases are they on, as well?

I'd throw a couple more bones in if there was some sort of incentive stuff, like a base starter of minions, or something, or a boss guy. Other then that, I wouldn't mind seeing some add ons, like pets, or something to give some boosts in there, kinda like those little muppet guys that hang around with the characters in some of those Anime shows and movies. Then theres the weapons options, are all of these guys using the same weapons? are there upgrades, or something like magic weapons and equipment packs? What about treasures, or goal stuff to give you some bonuses?

Just a few ideas to maybe roll around.

I put in for the 270 level. hope to see that 20G's, so I can get a few more boxes.

I see a whole bunch of cool ideas rolling from this game, though. I really hope it pushes past that hump.

We're working on getting a modular board made through Outrider Hobbies, and as soon as we have pricing and pictures we'll add it to the extras section. Otherwise you can build a table out of foam, Hrist Arts Molds, or use RPG Maps.

All squares and Human size models are on 25mm/1" squares.

Goto Manage Pledge and add the $X amount of whatever you want to add, and leave your reward selection as is. When the Kickstarter is over we'll send you a survey asking what you wanted to get.

Extra Single miniatures are $10 and can be added to any level starting at Adept. Extra Crystal Chests are $50. Each Crystal Chest starts at 3 models and gains more as we progress through stretch goals automatically. We intend to get the chests up to 10 points worth of models, but we have to go through several stretch goals to get there.

Bosses are coming as a future stretch goal along with named heroes. Weapon that the models have are not important in Endless, alternate sculpts will have different gear, and are a stretch goal. Additional Item cards added to the Crystal Chests are a stretch goal.

Kickstarter Update #12 - Is This The World We Created... ? wrote:New Extras are now available!

For $10 you can get a set of 6 D6, these are only going to be available during the Kickstarter. After the Kickstarter is over you'll be able to choose to get all of one style, or a set with one of each. Additionally one of each Die type will be included with Cleric Level (and higher) backers.

The final dice will feature slightly thicker lines, and a darker etching on the blue dice.

Additionally we have a Modular Game Table from Outrider Hobbies. This will allow you to have a 20x20 modular playing area, including a variety of height levels. Because of the weight we've arranged for this extra to be shipped directly by Outrider Hobbies, so it will arrive separate from your other rewards. If you'd like to get one of these please include an additional $60 for US Backers, $80 for Canadian Backers, or $100 for UK/ROW Backers. These prices include the shipping costs for the tables, but not for your regular rewards.

On the Lamb has had a few posts of their site introducing a few of the classes: Here you go!

Pugilist, The Resilient Brawler

Whether in the gladiator pits, or wrecking a tavern on the road, the Pugilist lives for the fight. In Yorak, where gladitorial combat is the national pastime, She is praised for her ability to pummel her opponents into the sandy arena floor. The Pugilist sees a lesser reputation in the outside world, where she must fight in illegal rings organized by criminal syndicates. Despite the varying views of their martial art, Pugilists are often recruited for adventuring groups, as their ability to take a beating, and dish it back out is of incredible use.

The Pugilist is a versatile combatant, with a variety of defensive abilities and status effect abilities. The only drawback is the severe lack of ranged commands, and a low starting DEF/MAG. This can be counteracted with some of their defensive commands, and their large HP pool will keep them fighting without much support.

Thief, The Sneaky Burglar

In the large cities of Yorak, with a decadent upper class, many underprivileged citizens resort to thievery and other criminal activities to survive. The Thief most often targets the rich and affluent. Though the Thief seeks to steal their valuables, the dead make very bad witnesses and he is as likely to stick a knife in their back when all is said and done.

An indirect combat fighter, the Thief tries to stay in their target’s rear arc, getting backstab bonuses, and avoiding being the target of any attacks. With their high movement value they can easily move about harassing enemies or continually get the flanking bonus, circling rapidly around their opponent.

Not sure if this question has been asked yet but....
The Backer Levels say that Knight level is Squire Level + A chest. (So you get the PDF and a chest)

But in the kick starter's description/graphic says Knight level is Adept plus a chest. (So one chest, one mini of your choice, and a PDF)

Witch exactly is the correct description?

It's in the FAQ at the bottom of the Kickstarter

Knight gets Adept+1 Chest.
