Only orange I found was at lvl 4.

It was a grenade mod. Corrosive, exploded into little 5 bombs, homing, and leeched life. but it only did like 100 dmg per nade or something like that.

I ended up using it until the early 20's though.

Yeah...weak character my ass...

I also found an orange pistol with her that's worth $2500-3000 at level 20, that has a high zoom and poison damage as well as its normal 195x2 damage. Did I mention it had a magazine of 195? Yeah, no need to reload THAT...Oh, and I FOUND that, it wasn't a hack. Also, very fast firing rate.

The Infinity. A Vladof pistol which actually fires in an "infinity" pattern if you look closely enough at it.

The orange grenade mod which Iur_Tae_Mont mentions as well is the single best grenade in the game.

It's a MIRV which MIRVs and in turn MIRVs again. I'm running a Grenadier build for Axton, and I carry 16 of those buggers.

The final boss, when I'm properly Grenadier spec'd and not Gunpowder like I was when farming him yesterday with Soladrin/Chowderhead is a joke.

Ooh, I picked up an Infinity on my Assassin. It is sickly useful just because it never runs out of ammo.

If you think about it, the presence of New-U machines could be why everything is so violent on Pandora.
If killing and dying has no true consequence, then why hesitate? That would explain the blood lust that is present with most characters.
Of course, there are always some who takes it too far...and it still doesn't explain why they only work some of the time.
Maybe the "permanently" dead characters had empty wallets when they died, I dunno.

Yeah, its very rare.
In order to get level 2 badass rank for finding orange items, you have to find at least 3-4. That's how rare they are.
You do get one for one of Lilith's side quests though.
When do eridium weapons show up? The only one I've found was on Dr.Zed's sidequest, the one with Doc Mercy.

Both Eridium and Oranges are exceedingly rare, unfortunately. I went through an entire playthrough without finding a single one of either (granted, it was on playthrough 1, but still) outside of quest rewards/items.

Well, prior to the end of the mission in Tundra Express--on console he has a 100% spawn rate.

He just has something like 9 points you need to check and every time you come back and forth to Sanctuary he'll respawn.

How come the Fibber is hilarious you mean? Because it lies like a bastard.
Here are some of it's stats (randomly generated, yours might be different) :

Clip Size : 62
Damage : 258

Deals +3000% damage
gives 50% love
Would I lie to you

It actually fires a cluster of 4 bullets, each doing about 500 damage (I think). Its clip size is 13.

Another fun weapon is the morningstar, a weapon that Hyperion custom built for you. Its a sniper rifle that berates you whenever you reload or score a critical kill.
Some of its lines include "Great Shot, Murderer!", "He could have been raised in a broken home!", "Oh great, now you're wasting ammo!"
I sold it. I found better rifles that weren't as aggravating.

You have to tip over 10k. Past 10k, every 5k you tip has a chance for her to give you one of two Maliwan SMGs.

There is "Moxxi's Good Touch" and "Moxxi's Bad Touch". The level will scale depending upon when you talk to her.

Pay her $15000 in tips. She'll give you a purple rarity SMG that matches your current level.

There are also 3 sidequests where you'll get a unique weapon from her.

1) The first one that will be available is from Marcus. He'll send you to retrieve the contents of a chest from some bandits. If you choose to give the contents to Moxxi, she'll give you a kickass unique shotgun, with incendiary ammo.

2) The second is from Mordecai. If you give the booze that you collected for the quest to Moxxi, she'll give you her personal sidearm. I can't tell you about it though since I gave the booze to Mordecai...because I'm a dumbass.

3) The third quest is from Moxxi herself, and she wants you to sabotage Jack's construction projects. Do so, and she gives you a homing incendiary grenade that homes in on a enemy, deals fire damage, explodes dealing fire damage to anyone close by AND it steals life.

As I said, I love Moxxi. She gives such great weapons, and she's a pretty fun character ^^

I did the dirty pics quest and I wanted to check both to see what I would get. I hit marcus first, and then canceled to go check out Moxxi's reward, but it was too late :( even though I didn't turn it in yet, all I had to do is hit the talk button and my choice was made :/

Yeah, I figured that out the hard way too, except it was with Mordecai's quest.
I thought they would let me see what the reward was first, but it turns out you can't do that when you have to choose between people.

That's not even the most "emotional" moment of the game.

You'll know the part when your rage reaches maximum with Handsome Jack. And it won't be because he let Butt Stallion die.

When did that happen? I just beat the game, and I didn't see anything like that.
Also, did anyone else find the exploit during the Warrior boss fight? It becomes so easy to beat him once you figure it out.

This game is beginning to irritate me. It's clearly designed to be multiplayer, to the point where the single player is annoyingly difficult.

-Cover is useless. Perhaps I'm spoiled by the cover mechanics in Mass Effect, but there is no way to use cover effectively. You can't fire from behind cover without completely exposing yourself, and if you do take cover, most times the mobs you are fighting rush your position. This was no better in the first game but the AI was not as vicious about it.

-Friendly fire from grenades is realistic, but stupid considering the bounce mechanics. I can't count how many times I've tossed a grenade only to have a charging psycho bounce it off his head back toward me. Add to that the sheer number of suicide psychos I've run into in tight spaces where it's nearly impossible to avoid them and throwing grenades just adds to the number of ways you can be killed by explosives.

-BARRELS! BARRELS FREAKING EVERYWHERE! There were not nearly this many barrels in the first game. It seems like when the designers said there would be 87 bajillion guns, they meant 87 bajillion explosive/fire/corrosive/shock/slag barrels for those guns to destroy accidentally while you are standing right next to them. I literally ran out of SMG ammo just shooting barrels on one mission, simply so I could not be killed by them later.

-Enemy bosses with impenetrable tower shields, guns that light you on fire and the ability to throw grenades that 1 shot you from any distance and heal them are an example of how the designers didn't take solo play into account when balancing encounters. I shouldn't be REQUIRED to lure the boss outside his lair and 3 shot him point blank with a shotgun in order to avoid him killing me almost instantaneously in return.

Don't get me wrong. I find the story and the dialogue amusing, and for the most part I am enjoying the game, but I'm disappointed by the fact that you are punished for wanting to play through the campaign by yourself without having to coordinate play time with other people. If the first game had been this annoyingly difficult I likely would not have finished it. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have died no less than 10 times on every "boss" fight so far, and I'm only level 10. Am I missing something? Am I doing something wrong?
