Hells bells! seems like some fellow 'Nerdverts' are going convert crazy! some great posing guys, really fitting stuff! I'm just about to update the first post with a list of contestants so far!
it's going to take our panel of judges a while to sift and vote on each model but i promise we'll do our best as we go, and a reminder to pm me the finished model pic! :-)
And as already hinted at by Kitch! if you guys are keen and think i should run this as a yearly comp, I had already decided on doing a 'Golden throne' next year :-)

I have been inspired to do something about my lack of air support for my WWI themed all-grots army, so I am working on a unit of Death kopta with big bombs stand ins that are being made to look like biplanes and a triplane. The skwadren leeder is to be none other than Greeny von Squighoffen, da infamous Red Grot!
I have the rotary engine nearly done after which I will be building the planes around that. I will share some pictures soon...

Everyone should get in on this! If this competition grows, who knows! Maybe next year it could be prizes of the Warhammer Variety! Who wouldn't want to walk a way with a custom figure painted by Nerdfest himself! Get your finished models submitted to Nerdfest via PM to get a collective folder of all the photos for the judges to review! The things I've seen so far look the the compatition is tough!
