Neophyte Undergoing Surgeries

I was planning on making a terminator army based on their performance while playing with a quick list I made up for a 2000pt Relic game. I was thinking a Full 10 man squad of Assault terminators accompanied by a librarian with null zone and gate of infinity, A full 10 man squad of terminators with a cyclone missile launcher and assault cannon accompanied by Lysander with maybe a redeemer landraider as transport, and maybe 4 full 10 man tactical squads.
Anything that I should add or remove? Open to anything I’m new to the tabletop gaming world lol

I don't think you'll squeeze 2 full squads of termies, Lysander, the termie Libby, a LRC and 4 tact squads in 2k...
You might be able to have2 tact squads and a small squad of scouts... Definitely no transports for the squads.

Really if you want to run a pure termie list, go for GK, SW or DA DW so that they count as troops.
GK are good. SW are pricey but good. DW is good but they are limited to 5-man squads...
Running 20 termies as your core, that is 800 points minimum.
Again doable with SW the advantage is a lot of Wolf Claws and cheaper. 760 base instead of 800. The problem is you have to take Logan at a cost of 275.
DW is cheap and flexible able to mix LC, TH/SS, and regular termies. The penalty is taking Belial for 130.

Grey knights are the best, there terminators, paladins, dread knights, HQ's and support units are amazing.
Grey Knights are very competitive.

Generally, I think that GK is the preferable choice since they have better support options than DW.

Terminators seem to be the "go to" selection in a couple of armies now, an assault unit with storm shields is really hard for a Vanilla marine army to deal unless its specifically geared up for it.
Grey Knights are a great option if you want to have an incredibly competitive list and with the current meta you'd know if you had one by the end of the second turn :-)
Something to be careful about is the shift in the game towards a heavy shooting bias, it used to be close combat that one games over whelmingly, its now careful target selection, concentrated fire etc. The one weakness your list above has is that your 2 termi squads are a HUGE point sink, and you don't have enough firepower.
I'd maybe suggest going with some Devi squads to help thin the ranks and reduce transport vehicles to smoking boxes which will enable you to dictate where your termi's are going to go and ruin someone's day.
I'd probably ally with blood angels to be honest, their Devi's are very reasonable points wise and all of their troops can benefit from FNP and furious charge for quite a cheap outlay, means that your BA Terminators now get a FNP roll against all of the plasma death that is the only real way of dealing with them en masse!
Good luck with it all,
oh, also, I'd put the libby with the shooty squad of terminators, that way when you teleport them they can do something (shoot stuff) as the assault squad will just stand there for a turn in a nice template shaped formation waiting to get shot!

As others have said, If you want to do a terminator list, vanilla marines is not the best choice.
But you can make a nice termi focused list.
I'd go with a 5 man assault squad, lead by a chaplain in a LR. Mix some claws in with the TH/SS (I run 2:3) You can either run Cassius, or just a plain chap in TDA. This will set you back around 600 points.
A full 10 man tactical terminator squad, pair of ACs, lead by either Lysander or a gate/something lib. This is going to be another 6-700 points. If you go librarian, gate and shoot. Lysander just takes point for the squad and marches across the table.
That is the core of your army, at ~1,250 points, depending of choices you make.
Now to fill out the army.
2 full tac squads, in rhinos, with a few toys will be about 450 points
5 man sniper squad, HB, camo for 100 points.
So now the army is legal to field. 3 troops is a little light for 2k, but doable. You have around 200 points to play with. Some AA would be good, either a talon or a ADL. If you are going with the librarian, a scout biker squad with a beacon would be nice to have. Or just go all in and pick up another squad of termis.
It might not be hyper-competitive tournament winning, but should give you a good showing and be fun to play.

Go with both Dark Angels and Grey Knights. The fluff works out considering Dark Angels hunt the Fallen who have turned to chaos.
Belial an 10 Scoring assault terminators is 630pts. There is your allied detachment, then take Coteaz and a 10 man squad of tooled out GK terminators who are also scoring for around 600pts. That gives you a little less than 800pts to flush out the list.
The problem with GK terminators is that they have no reliable way to deal with normal tactical terminators and will be roflstomped by assault terminators. Send Belial in at the heaviest CC threat and let the GK terminators go after the softer targets.

Belial and 10 terminators, with no extras is 560 points.

How about two units of 10 tactical termis w 2 CML apiece and a few CFs, plus two librarians w TDA SS and gate.
Throw in some vindicators to keep large open spaces clear for you to gate into then go purge some alien.
