I seriously cannot believe the second most powerful man in Australian government would come out and say that. I mean, there's a chance that in a few months he's supposed to be sitting down with those cranks and crazies to discuss international economic events. It's remarkable.

Well, that should make for some pleasant discussions during international meetings, then. Maybe some honest bluntness is what politics needs sometimes?

Maybe he will recommend those crazy people to go on a walkabout?

Might not be a bad idea for some of them. Have you seen how pale and flabby some of these politicians are?
They could use some time in the actual outdoors, is all I'm sayin'.

If an Aussie were calling me crazy I'd feel honored. Its like Jack Nicholson saying you play a good game of golf.

I like how the default response is dismissive due to nationality. And also how "Republicans are crazy!" would be dismissed if it were uttered by an American. And further how any criticism of the Republican party would be dismissed if it were uttered by a "liberal".

Its almost as if people adhering to the GOP can't man up, and take criticism.

Though, to be fair, the same is true of ardent Democrats.
