A quick follow up question on what has been discussed in detail before.

Playing Nids, mycetic spore with Doom of Malantai comes down. ADL with interceptor rule gun can shoot at either spore or Doom. However, if Doom is placed behind the spore and so cannot be seen by the gun can the interceptor shot only be made at the Spore?

Interceptor specifically mentions it can only be used against targets within its range and line of sight.

And shots are taken at the end of the movement phase.
So no, if you can't draw LOS, you can't shoot.

The bigger issue is, with no official model for spore pod or Doom, it can get ugly figuring out if hiding it behind the pod is fair.

Not really as the spore has to be big enough to carry a Carnifex which is much bigger than a Zoan.

Indeed, kind of like how a Drop pod is bigger than a Dreadnaught, however you can still see through it.

Actully NO, you try to fit a dreadnought into a normal drop pod, not possible if you did you can't close the doors, also you try fighting 10 marines into a drop pod, you will get lucky to fit 5. Also as mentioned when the doors open you will be able to see through a drop pod so he can see thorugh your spore pod so he can shoot you but you get a 5+ cover save or 4+ i can't remmeber.

You can only see through the spore pod if you can actually see through the Spore pod.

Nothing in the spore pod's rules override the TLoS rules.
