Well, they don't help in this case. The Tervigon kit simply does not come with standard 'claws' or a stinger salvo carapace.

Your Termagant would really benefit from a simple highlight on the crapace edges. Also, you should swing by The Tyranid Hive sometime

I agree with 60mm. An easy highlight would really help. Also I would recommend adding a spot color on the model to help give some contrast. Maybe paint the metallic areas of the gun something bright like orange, purple, or white?
I have to say tho. I really like the skin on this guy. Looks... buggy. The 2 tone thing really gives it an appealing look.

Great start! I would continue the recommendations of highlighting the edges of the carapace on his back, feet, and gun. If you want to stick with the metallic theme then maybe some drybrushing of necron compound would bring out the edges and keep that look of iron hard shell.

I love the highlighting of the body. The highlight and base colors are perfect. It looks very alien.
