I'd like a Creoda for KOW. That starter with two of him is a great deal, but I don't care about the humans that come in the set. I might go for that werewolf set with Creoda instead. It doesn't feel like as good of a deal, but I do like those wolves. I wish Cnebba was included in one of those sets. He'd make for an awesome "Avatar of the Father" for a Herd army in KOW.

Some new stretch goals and Atalantes news

Also, in related news, good news for those waiting on the Atalantes. I know they've struggled to book up Hector who's pretty much Kingdom Death'ed up:

Tthe Atalantes sculpts should pop up as a WiP very soon. We've had some right faff with these guys. A case of the 'Blunt Claw on Back Crackers' again I'm afraid.
I'm very hopeful that we've lined up some top quality guys to work on them now though. One guy is booked but running a little behind (he's a busy/popular boy) the next lot we've just to sort the fine print with them. I don't want to name just yet until a WiP appears as we've had our fingers burnt on these Atalantes and until the new guys produce we can't count our chickens. Top sculptors booked though - those Atalantes will be as good as Blunt Claw was in the end I'm sure of that!

Which is excellent news. I know a few bods are hanging on to see how the Atalantes shape out and who the sculptor is including me. I reckon when the first WIPs drop, there'll be a few new orders going in (especially those rifle armed ones!)...

New update: looks like they've lowered Golgog down to unlock at 200 backers, meaning he's unlocked!

Flippin' 'eck, quite a few new stretch goals passed already and a new one posted:

£31,250 - Scab-Face, Blight-Vras

We've smashed £30,000 - which means the Auxilia Sagittarius Support Starter Host is yours to pledge for - and so we need another stretch goal. So here's one, for the Vras, in the scabby shape of Scab-Face, the Blight-Vras - unlocked at £31,250!

The Blight-Vras are manipulators of decomposing flesh, using the changes wrought in such meat to destroy the enemies of the Three-Claw. Scab-Face is one such Blight-Vras, and he will stand on a 30mm base and will be around 30mm to the eye. He will be an Uncommon, Wild Warchief of the Vras, and an ally of the Ysians.

Increase your pledge by £6 (metal) or by £9 (resin) to purchase Scab-Face!

Reminder time

This KS is going to be the last one with the 20% off existing minis category,

so if there is anything you fancy on the mierce website now is the time to get it cheaper than normal

The "greens" are usually grey, aren't they? That usually means Procreate.

Varies wildly between sculptors.

Rob said at one point one guy doesn't cook or set them so they are always soft. He casts his own masters and the Mierce guys go through squeaky bum time every time they get one of his sculpts! Though he always blows their minds

Can't remember who that was though haha

That`s what I`ve been thinking. Although some minis are so huge, that I doubt they use just that.. Some cheaper putty to build the foundation, methinks
And some have yellow "bits" as well

Can be anything really, depends on the sculptor. Fimo, greenstuff, you name it

It's worse than that, in that when he does the initial moulding, the sculpt is destroyed in the process!

Also, noticed this hasn't been posted:

Kerazek, Augur-Drune:

Total's rising fast and we've knocked over a load of stretches today.

If it is I hope he's less tippy than the current sculpt.

Yeah I have to admit those Dreaguth are sexy as hell.

Edit: I might need to contact Mierce and change my options around. I think I want them and the rest of the Jutes in resin. I don't want to miss a scrap of detail on those awesome miniatures!

Hi everyone, I'm back from my desert holidays so I get to play with the toys that accrued while I was away. The first thing I've started on are Con I Modius, but..... I seem to have problems with what I've received and wanted to check I wasn't mad before I bother Mierce.
I've three each of Gallius and Severa, each comes with two right arms but I'll be damned if I can find the left. If anyone can confirm how blind I am by showing me the left arms, or anyone who also has these minis can point out where the arms should be, I'd be grateful.
Thanks.

I can't see them either,

you were always meant to get 2 right arms as they were meant to come with a gladius or pilum so that's right

but I've not seen anybody who's had them posting sprue shots to see how things were meant to be set up,

I wonder if there is a missing (or in another part of your shipment, depending on how much stuff you got?) sprue with 8 left arms on?

They come loose in the pack. I got a rather large grouping of Con I Modius and needed to email for replacements. They tossed them in a box with some Krok's that was also packing.

Thanks Orlando and Vhalan. I had another check through the baggies and packaging and not a sight of them. One thing I can't commend Mierce for enough is their customer service, so I'll pop him an email tomorrow.

Highlord Tamburlaine and I were having a discussion earlier and I seem to be confused about something. In the stretch goal section, there's mention of free Monstrous Infantry based on pledge level. Is that offer available to all pledges, or only to people who are going to purchase Golgog? The graphic doesn't say one way or the other, just that it's based on pledge level.

Yes, I can confirm that my legionary shield arms were separate in the bag, rather than on the "sprue".

You definitely have to purchase Golgog to get them.

That gets me to thinking, on the phone or at the Family BBQ's, do you guys ever acutally call each other "Highlord" or "Barzam"?

The total on this one really got moving once the GOLGOG total was made 200 backers instead of 300 backers.

The last campaign really got going once Alix and her 'free' monster was introduced in the last week.

It seems as if many backers and/or potential backers now need that 'extra incentive' to really get going.

I wonder if this will continue to be the case even after the rulebook gets released?
