Subject: Privateer Press "plastics" - Need some advice on two things

Hey guys, just picked up a Menoth battlegroup box for the fun of it. Needed a fresh modelling/painting project to take part in. However, this is my first time dealing in something that isnt GW plastic. Never touched FW resin, nor even GW's Finecast.
But I got a couple questions.
1. How do I straighten bent areas? The shaft on Kreoss' weapon and the Revenger's halberd are a lil wonky. Do I deal with this in the same way I would with resin? Dip it in hot water, then cool it in cold to "reset" the model's shape?
2. Is pinning required for these miniatures? I know that PP's plastics arent plastic like GW's and they require CA glue. But with the heavier pieces, is it still recommended to pin them? Or is the bond from superglue strong enough to keep them intact without worry? I do intend to magnetise the Crusader though.
Cheers.

"Not" boiling water (hot tap water should be fine), reshape and plunge in cool water to set works for me.
Superglue should be adequate - although if you slightly roughen up the surfaces to be glued (fine emery board) and clean the dust off before gluing, it will hold better.

Also, scratch up the area that you are going to be gluing. This gives the glue more area to grip and creates a tighter bond. I started doing this a while back and I barely use pins now.

Agreed. I even tend to do this with resin as well.
