Lots of blown up Tau bits - would make excellent bases for a triumphant invading Space Marine/Imperial Guard army!

Just splash on liberal amounts of blue blood (!) and you're good to go!

Would be nice to have more different 60mm bases, for people using battlesuits on larger bases.

Do Tau have blue blood? Now I'm curious, I know little about the Tau.

The bases look awesome.

I really love all the hardfoam stuff from MAS. I really need to get at least a couple of hill sets, and the urban hill looks awesome.

I've got quite a bit of their hardfoam/mdf kits, and they really do look cool on the tabletop. Very easy to assemble and paint up as well.

And so much sturdier than homemade stuff from insulation foam, like hills, which will see lots of handling.

In certain older sources, they do - based on the presence of cobalt in it.

Splash away with the blue!

MAS, do you still carry the original "ruins" bases that those Tau ones were crafted from? My Eldar army is based on those and I need more since the new codex came out. Feel free to PM me!

They might have lost those to Basicks when the split occurred.

Can't find those on the Basicks site, but don't you mean these from (still) MAS? http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/temple-bases-round-25mm-p-134.html

I remember those, but they seem OOP for years, even before the split.

I asked the designer and this bases are made of new kind of "ruins" (this rune differ from the old ones you are talking about). The old ones "disappeared" during years

I was afraid of that. Guess I'll get those Tau ones and cut off the Tau bits.

Do you.. it hadn't occurred to me that those were a Tau aesthetic!

My first thought was perhaps some kind of ancient ruined world of the Tohaa from Infinity..

Is there any word on price for them yet? The other MAS foam stuff is very reasonably priced, hope these are too.

What is the intent of those "cyber wound rings"? What game uses bases shaped like that?

I suspect they would be used to mark Necron casualties for RP rolls.

I have seen similar rings used to mark wounded models by hanging them off of whatever pointy-gribbly bit the model possesses, or around the head or whatever. No beads to move with the model.

Exact this way we are using this wound rings in our studio. Sometimes is good to have a visual representation of wounds etc. on the mini.
