How? I'd say he made a fool of himself in too many issues, mainly foreign policy... His conclusion was cheesy too. I felt like I was being sold a car by dracula's nephew
I didn't think to look in there

Well... blame d-usa... I'm almost drunk... (VP debate drinking game!)
Anyhoo...
I'm watching CNN now... they didn't like Biden's performance... more on his conduct rather than his content... he was really disrespectful...
Didn't really notice that... all I saw was "GET OFF MY LAWN KID!"
EDIT 1: May take... On style, Paul Ryan wins. Biden looked unhinged. On substance, however, it was a draw. Both said what they needed to their base.

Ryan sat there all night poking holes a'la the benefit of hindsight at previous actions regarding foreign policy etc but could not come up with different solutions on ways to go forward. He also totally lost out when the two of them were asked about their own Catholic beliefs and their consideration towards the issue of abortion.
Biden also didn't let Ryan rest on his laurels when he was making up nice sounding numbers for the economy based on a 'free ice cream for everyone' policy.

Naw... Biden came off like a punk...
NEws is buzzing how disrepectful of Biden was... and not what he said... (maybe that's his stratergery?)
DANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@CNBC: [POLL RESULTS] Who do you think won the VP Debate? Paul Ryan: 56%, Joe Biden: 36%, Neither: 8%
In case everyone didn't know. The fighting season in Afghanistan is Apr through Sept. Biden bolo that one. Also a lot of people hitting Biden up on the rudeness to. First I notice that his temper was rising was when they got into Libya

I personally thought it a draw. Biden got some good zingers..pointing out Ryan asking for subsidies before and now saying thats bad.. Not sure if true but was effective.

Ryan sat there with a smarmy grin and trolled everything the administration has done in the past and how his gang would have done things better (hindsight, 20;20 etc) with nothing for what he'd do in the future, because it's the future and he couldn't just attack what the other side has done.
Also, for your poll...
CNN POLL:

Professionalism was a bit lacking for Biden. In case some are wondering about Uncle Joe son going over just once its because he's a JAG Lawyer. He was in Bagram. My B-Hut was right beside his office. His B-Hut was right beside his office The offices was right inbetween us

GG
He's sorta right... but, all congress-critters do that.
The best ZINGER to me was when Ryan said to Biden: Sometimes the words don't come out of YOUR MOUTH the right way (after BIden's 47% statement)
IMO neither did enough to give their team a significant bounce.

Even Biden laughed at that

You really think 'you say dumb things sometimes' compared to the 'you publicly damn the subsidies we've offered to businesses to help keep them afloat whilst sending us letters asking for that cash for your voters'...
Biden did mention before that US Military have to qualify for the Post 9/11 GI Bill...recently I believe.

Our definition of Zinger is quite different.
Fair enuff... top 5 Ryan zingers?
1. “Look, if we’re hit by terrorists, we’re going to call it for what it is: a terrorist attack.”
2. “With respect to that quote, I think the vice president very well knows that sometimes the words don’t come out of your mouth the right way.”
3. “Here’s the problem, they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, turning Medicare into a piggy bank for Obamacare.”
4. “Mr. Vice President, I know you’re under a lot of duress to make up for lost ground, but I think people would be better served if we don’t keep interrupting each other.”
5. “The president likes to say he has a plan. He has a speech.”

Yep...
Both did good in this role.

No military personnel needs to "qualify" to recieve the Post 9/11 GI Bill. Its a giving in the initial contract if the recruit says "yes" to it. If no and then the soldier wants to get into the Post 9/11 GI Bill all they need is a request for action form (4187 for US Army) signed by their Battalion Commander. Unless the soldier is "flagged" which means no favorable actions can be giving till removed.
Also Biden mention he went out the "Wire" while in Afghanistan by ground movement. No way. I call BS on that. No unit in their right mind going to take a chance with him out the "Wire"
I recommend Col Meow as next Mod for the debates

That's why I was wondering about stuff sticking. Nobody is going to vote for a ticket because the VP does well, but if they sling enough crap at the guys on top of the ticket then they have an impact.
