The thing I found amusing was this quote “Here’s the problem, they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, turning Medicare into a piggy bank for Obamacare.” when I was under the impression that the cuts in Medicare that Ryan is criticizing were also a part of the tax plan that he proposed?
They are. Its called misdirection, and neatly allows a Republican government to work on repealing pieces of Obamacare without ever having to touch the cuts to Medicare.

I only got to listen on the radio. I wanted to strangle uncle Joe, theN Ryan. I ended up rooting for Martha. All in all disappointed. Niether won, and Biden certainly didn't "crush it." he acted like a prick, if he would have let Ryan be the prick and been good old Uncle Joe he would have crushed it.

Vice President Biden's claim at Thursday's debate that the administration wasn't told of requests for more diplomatic security in the run-up to the Libya terror attack added only more confusion to an already muddled narrative.
In addition to raising eyebrows over that comment, the vice president went a step further and threw the intelligence community under the bus -- putting the blame squarely on their shoulders for the faulty narrative, pushed for more than a week by the administration, that the attack was a protest spun out of control.
Seems this is being a beatstick now. Obama Admin acknowledge it was a terrorist attack? Or still saying a protest gone wild?

In other words, its Entitlements that are causing the Deficit. The Military has no money in comparison.
Its actually the entitlements and the military, and any politically feasible package of budget cuts will have to include the military in some fashion.
Politically feasible, yes. one that actually manages to lower the deficit, no.
And I would be fine with a military spending reduction(mostly in areas of technology that isn't needed) if Entitlements also got cut massivly.

I could be way off though.
True that. Interestingly Stockdale was a family friend. He was always a bit coockoo but in the "crazy uncle that all the kids loved" sort of way.
I'm going off really hazy memory, but if I recall correctly Adm. Stockdale was instrumental in helping Ross get some of his employees out of Iran during the Revolution. The two had had a pretty long history, and had gotten some results.

The data we have all been waiting for...the Video Game demographic! Or, the 'I have Xbox Live and decided to watch the debate through the Live Event Player and answer the poll questions' demographic.
Here are some data points from last night’s polling data:
Biden won the debate with Xbox Swing Voters: 44.1% of undecided voters declared Biden the winner with 22.9% choosing Ryan.
Biden was overwhelmingly viewed by our swing voters as being more truthful, garnering the favor of 72.2% of undecided respondents.
An overwhelming 70.1% of undecided voters do not consider a candidate’s religion when deciding for whom to vote.
53.7% of undecided voters felt that Biden is better prepared to step in as president compared to 21% for Ryan
I was going to include to other table but I can't quite figure out how to get it to format quite right and so it just was a jumble of numbers.
