What's going on with master of the forge in 6th? Also, I have master of the forge, can I split my dreadnoughts, some as elites and some as heavy support?

Consult you Codex.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Not much. He moved out a little while ago, and he's a bit behind on the child support payments. But he's holding down a steady job at the local manifactorum so it should be all good in awhile. We're going to having a BBQ in a few weeks, so why don't you ask him then?

More importantly- whats going on with YOU?

I'm building a new Master of the Forge on bike. Power axe, bolt pistol and servo harness.

He'll team up with my biker captain and six dreadnoughts for fun times.

He seems a good, solid choice for a gunline army. One of the few places we get BS5 if you want him manning a gun. 2+ is better, and with the new wound allocation, he can take the hits for a squad by standing in front. He has some nice options.

Field him if you got him...

Thanks very much for that. Are you being sarcastic or helpful?

Yes. You can put 1 Elite Dreadnought and 1 HS dreadnought if you needed room in your Elite or Heavy slots for other stuff.

6th edition didn't change this ability that is spelled out pretty well in the Space Marine codex.

Alright thanks, I was wondering if anything changed about it.

Take 2 MotF, give them both Conversion beamers, deploy them in opposite corners and watch your opponents face as nothing is safe from Str 10 AP1 blasts.

Considering you went onto a website to ask if your motf was changed, instead of checking a FAQ on the gee dub website, and no new marine codex and indeed apparently you are incapable of comprehending zee English in your codex, I think I should point out I was being neither sarcastic nor helpful- just amusing

Summary- nothing has changed. Yes you can take dreads as elites or heavy support. This information is clearly laid out in your codex. Nothing has been faq'ed or changed.
