The thing is people need to be patient overall. Does this suck yes horribly but honestly it is far better then some of you think. Try dealing with Privateer as they can take months to fill orders. It may suck but in the end patience will win over more.

I guess it's a combination of the (arguably) best Batman version in years, a company doing really sweet models and a tabletop game to boot. If it just would've been Arkham miniatures I might've gotten a Bane, but I'm really interested in a system based around gang fights in Goham, instead of the huge super battles in Heroclix.

Why would you need cops, I mean gangs fight each other all the time.

The cops fit into the hero gang vs joker gang or hero gang vs penguin gang games.... that question is like asking if "If i can play chaos marines vs eldar, where do Imperial Guard fit in?"

Which, of course, you can do in 40K 6th, on either side!

I just love the idea of a Gotham-based gang fight system so much. I hope Rhas' gets one as well.

My wife even loved the models and she asked me to paint her some...in the 15+ years of knowing me she has never asked that. The models are great quality though the packaging is a little bulky but eh.

Have they given you any indication that the turnaround time will be quicker than the last set?

Glad to hear things are working for you guys in Europe. My issue Alph with doing pre-orders atm like I did before is that I don't want to run into the issue I did last time and people demanding their money back. For a small business refunds can kill all of the profit you made(if any sometimes) but compared to Privateer Press Knights models is fast and that's sad. Try waiting upwards of 3 months for a restock

Empchild, does that mean no more preorders through you? I was planning on using battleroad as my exclusive knights minis dealer!

Unfortunately what Emp is saying is true! The amount of demands we have had for refunds have all but left us with a pile of unsold stock, which in turn has sucked our profits right down the pan! But this is good in the long run as we now have it in stock on demand!

We are offering them still as pre-order and hoping that KM are faster with the next batch! After all our first order from them came within days...

The thing that did make it better for us was when customers were demanding refunds, we were just informing them that even the BIG companies (don't need to mention the names) are in this position at present and cant supply due to no product!!

Not being a store owner, I totally missed how this was screwing with you guys.

1) Put items up for pre-order. Excitement builds. People order a whole bunch.

2) Order a whole bunch to fill all the pre-orders.

3) Company take a long time to deliver.

4) People want refunds.

5) Refunds given.

6) Stock finally arrives, only now there is excess due to refunds.

Ouch!

OK, much wiser to wait until miniatures are available to take any additional orders!

Seems like its kind of a non win deal for the small store owner, offer them for presale and a bunch of people cancel and you've got a ton of stock, offer them for presale as noncancellable and people would likely still freak out and turn into a customer service issue. Maybe you could do some sort of dakka only presale and only after making it painfully clear to the person ordering them that it might take a while to get the figs

I'd be OK with that option, especially with Empchild and Battleroad for us USA customers.

My biggest incentive not to cancel was the 25% discount, cant beat that afaik.

I believe in service hence i have never screwed people over but with company's like this one or two refunds can kill all of your profit .

Offer no refund presales with a 25% discount? Call it the dark knight fan club or something, offer it as a more limited form of your yearly subscription thing, say one time fee of 25 dollars gets you a year of purchasing pre-ordered knight minis at 25% off, id pay for that... (and itd def pay for itself).
