My regiment is the Varminsiegien Panzerfraustian 343th Imperial Guard regiment. It is a mechanized regiment but also has a lot of stormtroopers, Leman russes and Valkyries all owned by the valkyrie. The soldiers are very skilled and has a lot of veterans. Their uniforms consist of the standard Cadians but are a german grey and has mostly german names. The officers dress like German officers. The Leman Russes are like panzers to make the regiment more German like. Also, the guardsmen have the steel helmets. The regiment is very famous amongst many other regiments and have even made the Catachans jelous(personally I don't like Catachans cause they are an army of stupid American Rambos and seem like some sort of pro American propaganada also the German ww2 army was better then the marines so go figure). The officers look like commissars as well.

Sounds cool, your officers should say "Hold ze line!" The comment about catachans made me sad though... :(
I love Rambo, Catachans and America!
Lol, anyways, personal opinion. Good luck with the army.

Okay, no pictures.
In defense of the Catachan, watch the movie Predator. That's the kind of feel they were going for - b.a. soldiers with muscles that bulge only so as to provide more meat for ripping and shredding.
If you want your men to have a more "German" feel I'd say look at the Moridans for your officer models, especially senior.

Death Korps and mordians both have a German feel to them.

I really like the look of the German steel helmets. It would be awesome to see a whole army done up in that fashion. Perhaps you could take a few pics so we can see the result?

Actually in both World Wars the conscripted nature of the US forces meant they were inferior man-for-man to the Germans. It's nothing personal so you don't need to get bothered about it, it's just what a relative lack of Military Tradition and a conscripted army will cause.

The German military was also a conscript force. They had a cadre of professionals, just like everybody else, but the rank and file soldier was a conscript. Similar applies for members of the officers corps as well. People with the right academic background would serve as officers. After their active service they would usually turn into reserve status, to be called upon in times of need. For example, the German forces tearing through the French troops in the Franco-Prussian war of 1870/71 were conscripts, while the French were professionals. The German nations could muster a significantly larger army because of this. And this war is pretty much where the German military tradition starts. Before that there was no united Germany.
The armies clashing on the battlefields in France in WW1 were generally conscripts, except for the Canadians, who volunteered and the US Marines, and those who were crazy enough to volunteer when that mess started, plus a few more exceptions. Same in WW2. The average Landser, like my grandpa, was conscripted. Volunteers in WW2 were, for example, the Americans who ran to the recruitment stations after Pearl Harbor. The SS was also a volunteer outfit (though conscription is said to have happened in the final stages of the war.)
The US Marines have always been a volunteer force.
Now, taking your argument about the lack of military tradition in a conscript army, I could argue that the Imperial Japanese army was significantly superior to the Americans in the Pacific. They had military tradition twisted by the fascist government into going back to the very early samurai. That propaganda was everywhere, going down into kindergarten and elementary school. Boys were encouraged to want to become soldiers. Yet that army was a conscript army as well (the draft usually sneaking up on people with the dreaded "red paper"), and it was ultimately annihilated by the Americans, due to the massive economic and technological superiority of the Americans, but also because of fundamental differences like this one: the Japanese soldier died to win, the American soldier killed to win.
