I have a simple (hopefully) issue with cleaning the clear plastic cockpit on my stormraven gunship which was partially "whitened" by some super glue I used. It is hard to see through and all fogged up and I figured it was a loss, but I cleaned it with some alcohol and it became brand new again. After it dried however it returned to the same foggy white mess it was before. Any suggestions????

The best thing I can think of is to use those headlight restoration kits for your car, or those eyeglass scratch repair kits. I don't know if it will work, and I don't think it's worth the cost, but there you go.

What youve essentially got is a superglue "burn" and a lesson on why you dont use any type of super or plastic (model) glue on clear plastic. The only thing that should be used on clear plastic is white glue, like Elmers, also called "school" or "craft" glue.
As far as restoring clarity...unlikely. You can try polishing which might remove enough damaged material to make it clear again, but no guarantee. My advise would be to pick a color and paint it, and cal it a lesson learned.

no idea if this works, but maybe a layer or two of gloss varnish would sort it out?

Old school airplane modeling fix for ya (showing my age here).
take your canopy, and clean it really well, apply a thin (almost non-existant) layer of vaseline to the outside of it. Paint with 3-6 layers of clear fingernail polish, letting dry between coats. let cure for at least 24 hours, and pop it off, viola, new canopy.

Is it a dome canopy or a squarish cockpit. Thinking dremel out the panes or something and use the clear plastic from the mini package...

Paint it to look cracked, battle-damaged. Paint some white and draw on radiating crack lines with a pigment fineliner!

I'd suggest looking at glass paint which can mask the issue.

First mistake was superglue. Fogging can be buffed out with silver or brass polish (computer case modders do it with the plexiglass insert pieces in the case).
You compounded it by using alcohol to "clean it".
Alcohol is a solvent that leaches away the plasticiser from the acetate - fogging it again (I think your canopy is pretty much boned now) and worse. IT might have been retrievable had you not gone from superglue straight to alcohol.
Try clear floor polish or clear nail varnish.
Otherwise, source a new one and learn NOT to do the same things again.

How far out has it fogged?
Can you cover it with kill decals?
Can you blackline it with cockpit trim?
A good application of glass paint hides a lot.....
