My wife wanted to watch Cloud Atlas this weekend, and while the review of the movie is best left somewhere else I did enjoy the visuals of Neo-Seoul. The scenes set in Neo-Seoul reminded me of the Infinity asthetic and could probably serve some good inspirations for scenery:

Good job, i'm off to watch the film right this second and i'll be figuring out how to make those powered/energy roads for Infinity.

I've already got an idea for a sort of "energy bridge" utilizing thick sheets of colored saran wrap with balsa wood struts.

Didn't WarMill make clear laser-etched movement trays for a while?

Seems like that sort of thing would be perfect for these.

I think he might be convinced to do such a thing again.

Cloud Atlas isn't out here until late February! That's just wrong! There better be good quality copies on line soon that's all i can say. :(

Anyway, i was thinking acrylic and led/paint for the roads. I thought of Ed and Harry too but i'm not sure they are tooled for something really big and i don't think it would look right with join lines between sections...

...

Scratch all that, think i have an amazing idea, i'm off to find out if i can make it work!

It wasn't bad, not near as in depth as the book of course. Acting was good and the casting was pretty interesting. I recommend it.
