I realise its been a long time since DAVE saw the light of day so here's a few old happy snaps of most of Dave. As i said im renovating him.

Heres some updates i have added armour plating to the left shoulder and i am altering the leg position so that the right arm looks organic and natural in the "haymaker" pose i am thinking also of doing a nid type base battle of Mccragge style.

That's a very awesome project.

Apologies for the shabby pics they were done at the work bench, I have progressed a little with Dave's right arm, the Hay maker.

In all seriousness this has to be one of the coolest thing's I've seen in a good while.

A little more work on the right arm did the elbow joint and the hose joint on the inner elbow
and started the fist

Back to Dave i have set asides some me time and am going to try and do as much as i possibly can, I have done the fingers on the right hand and the fine detailing of that power fist, redone the boots and started in on the legs plus a little fine carving of the skull on the shoulder pauldron. The legs are going to get re designed too.

It's looking pretty sweet. A very ambitious project, indeed. But I can't help but look at it and think that something looks off. Around the head, I think. Maybe it's the fact that the arms are in line with where the shoulders are supposed to be (something most Terminators lack) that is making it look odd. To me, the arms should be up a little more or the boxy top half should be compressed downwards a bit. Regardless, it looks great.

took a closer look at the shoulders situation, i like to give my terminators a look of realism i.e that the suits wearable without being some kind of contortionist ...........However bearing in mind what you said i have rased the arms about 4mm they still look normal but the canopy looks more squat and terminator like.. so cheers Darth good catch much appreciated. Will post some more pics soon.

I have blinged up the shin guards they arent finished yet, im going to overlay the Ultra "U" and a skull over them, im just wondering what the general concensus is ???

I am lost for words on this. Pretty epic sculpting work there man.

Thanks folks i take it its a thumbs up for the shin guards then ? i was going to remove them as i really wasnt sure that they fit the theme as a whole, i have added the ultra marines "u" and a banner and am in the process of adding a skull, i think it will cover up and tone down the amount of pimpage going on lol. once again thanks for the imput

I have added the pipe work to the thighs added a little bling here and there on the rest of the armour, i couldnt resist tacking the bits together to see what the overall effect is. Theres a few bits missing the loin clothe /tabbard and some chains n other bits n bobs they will come later.
