Make sure it's 1:35 scale, not 1:76.

Also that was for my DoomEagle army that I no longer have. It has been converted to fit my current BlackLegion army.

In 1:35, they're still pretty big. Much bigger than a rhino, taller and longer anyway. The hull width is pretty similar maybe but the sponsons make it pretty wide too. Cant find actual dimensions though.

well the Raider's based on the Mark 8 Liberty, but finding model kits for that is hard

The Heldrake is tiny compared to a Valkyrie, in terms of a footprint I would say half the size of it.

Thanks for the comparison pic, helps a lot as I have seen quite a few valkyries, as one of the people I played the most had 2 of them and used them every game.....which i promptly shot down turn 1 with missiles...he hated that.

Yeah. You got that?

Could easily do a conversion out of that one but it might end up less mech/organic than I had planned and a bit more robot. And it's hard to beat the cheapness of wire frame, hot glue and a skin of green stuff + random bits.

I just wanted to say Meade your csm stuff is some of the best I have ever seen and I'm a huge fan.

Yeah, I have one and if I was building a Tzeench army I would use it as the basis for a Tzeench Heldrake. Greenstuff can cover up a lot of "robot" and turn it into "organic".
Easy to find these on ebay.

I'm building Nurgle so am thinking of something along the lines of a larger Plague Drone.

Looked him up on ebay and it's a bit confusing TBH... it looks like there are many different versions and sizes of him...so it's hard to get the right dimensions compared to the helldrake... plus many are like 50 bucks, I don't think I would be willing to drop more than $15 on this guy.

pretty useful for a reference picture of what a flying wing might look like. I'm probably going to end up dropping cash on tentacles and extra bits instead though. If I'm going to cover most of it in greenstuff I might as well build my own.

Width: Wingtip to wingtip is 12.5". Length: Hull front to rear wingtip is 7". Have not seen any dimensions for the Heldrake, and it appears to be a little bit smaller than the Depthcharge, but not enough for me to even consider not using it.

Would someone that owns a GW heldrake take a few measurements for me?

I got my two SW models from ebay today and they look like they might fit pretty well with the scale, but before I start chopping up the wing panels to make it more inline with the heldrakes shape, i need to know the rough dimensions of it.

Also what size is the flight base for the heldrake, and if you could take a picture with it flat on the table next say a rhino that would really help as i don't own a vendetta. Thanks in advance.
