We shall see. So far, in our events, FW has been pretty underwhelming, to be honest.

So far that has been the case, but you only announced that forge world would be in play a month or 2 before your larger events.

Now that there will be over 4 months to pre-plan and to get some shipments in from the UK I think there might be a change to the amount of forge world units we will see.

Saber defense platforms not only do well against flyers, but can kill everything else and are very, very hard to kill. So it does not matter if you have a hybrid list or not, because they are still really good.

Hey Reece, have you finalized the new BAO mission format? I really want to start practicing with enough time this year to actually make a better showing than in the 40s overall.

We have finalized it. I will post the missions up today.

We're just waiting to make the big announcement and put tickets on sale until we have everything lined up. We'll have all of that by month's end, right now we're just working out the final details.

The missions are super simple, and the feedback we've gotten has been almost 100% positive.

Consider me back again for Fantasy. Going to try and drag some of my homies up this time, since its always fun to duel the L2 guys and I think Scott wants to play in the 40k side.

I talked to Natalie last night and she is on board for us making the trip up as long as that weekend is as free and clear as we believe! Looks like it will be 3 years in a row for me at the BAO, here is to hoping I place much better this year.

I'm not sure if I will make it to this one. No army is calling me to play it atm and I haven't practiced the rules enough to be competitive. Maybe me and John can do a Rocky montage to get me up to snuff.

Looks like I'll be able to make it this year as the thing that prevented me from playing in the tourney last year, that being unemployed, has been rectified. As for worrying about Saber Platforms? Not going to happen as I'm just there to have fun and worrying about what my opponent brings is not going to do me any good.

This will be my first West Coast and 40k GT! (long time east coast fantasy and LOTR player) I would hate to miss tickets. Is there still a 2 player team tournament? Would that interfere with the main event?

Is this tournament open to the standard gamer or do you need to qualify?

IIRC the team events are on Friday while the main event is on Sat-Sun. So you could easily do both.

Hey guys!

Tickets will be up for sale this Friday the 30th if not sooner, we're just about ready to get the tickets up for sale.

The 40K Team Tournament is Friday and really fun, laid back with lots of funny costumes and beers to be had!

The 40K Singles is Saturday and Sunday, we only have room for 128 this year as we weren't able to increase the square footage of the venue, unfortunately. Those will go quickly.

The 40K Narrative event is Saturday and Sunday, this is a really popular event and it is being limited on player size due to the logistics of running a narrative event.

Warmahordes will be 3 individual events, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a really similar format to last year which was super popular. Tyson Koch is running it again, and he is a great guy who handles all of our Warmahordes events.

Fantasy will have a narrative event on Friday, and this is our first time running it, but we think it will be a lot of fun. Seth is running Fantasy again for us this year.

Fantasy Singles will be a 64 man tournament Saturday and Sunday. This event sold out last year at 32, so we're opening it up to 64, but tickets will likely go quickly as the Fantasy scene here is quite popular.

Really looking forward to having you all! We're getting excited already, it's going to be a great event!

I doubt I can convince the wife to take off Friday at work so I can play in the team event but we'll see...

Bought my ticket for Fantesy And a T-shirt.

I'll just be playing Fantesy but I'll be there all 3 days as I'm carpooling with some guys from SLO going to be there all 3 days. Watch some Warmahordes and just hang out.
