I've slept, I've eaten and I am ready! The 225k Stretch goal has been blasted apart and everyone eligible for the Survivor and Deluxe Survivor Reward levels will receive 5 extra kings plastic Kings Men.

I've been reading all of your messages and keeping track of the comments. I agree I think it would be a good idea to add an option menu to the top of the page and to make the rewards in the levels a little bit more clear. I am going to work on updating that today.

I am carefully looking over the budget, mold costs, printing etc. This is one hell of a balancing act! My production partner already wants to murder me and its only day two!

That's a damn good unlock. I already have a Flower Knight, so it's not a huge deal for me, but I can easily say it's one of the finest miniatures ever sculpted, and anyone who has a chance to get one should definitely try.

Exact same situation for me... I might get a plastic one as well if there are both options

I like the way it says Expansion

that reads like new monster, new cards, rules etc (hopefully)

plus of cource the model itself which I've tried and failed to pick up several times

So, as someone who has never kickstarted anything - those optional models, is there a minimum pledge? I've been after the Beyond the Wall model for a long time, and the Pheonix Dancer would be great to paint. Can you simply do the minimum pledge and add those to it?

edit - Very tempted to buy in at the Survivor level and add the odd upgrade. That's a pretty fantastic game set already.

Honestly, with the huge shipping cost, you might as well buy in at the Survivor level.

So how does kickstarter work. If I pledge the $155 for the Survivor set, do I pay it immediately? What happens if the project fails (obviously not this time with the funding they have)?

You won't be charged until about 15 or 20 minutes after the Kickstarter ends on the 7th of January you can change your pledge as much as you like until the end. If the project fails to reach it's funding total of $35k (really?) you won't be charged at all no matter how much you have pledged.

You pay it when the project is finished, and if it fails, you pay nothing.

That's tempting. Having it end 7 January is kind of helpful as well. I'll definitely keep an eye on this then.

keep an eye on any of the 'black friday' levels opening up (pledger dropping out etc.) and pledge as soon as you see it opening up. Might save you a penny or two (or just get you an extra option for the same price!) and your card gets charged at the same time regardless.

If somehow you should change your mind, you can drop your pledge right up until just before it ends, if I'm not mistaken (must say I've never actually dropped a pledge yet - but I've heard of such heresy being done )

Yes, you can cancel your pledge anytime up until the end.

I am VERY excited about the Flower Knight 'expansion' - as I've always wanted the model AND, as noted, it looks as if we'll get official rules for it too!

The expansion contains, 1 plastic flower knight, its artificial intelligence cards, hit location cards, special resource cards earned by defeating it ( yeah right ), gear cards, rulebook ( including lore & crafting recipes ), some new settlement events, version of the Flower Sword that fits the armor kits, and a special painting guide by Thomas David!

This is our first game expansion and I am presetting it at 50% off! Partially because the Flower Knight is already sculpted but mostly because I <3 you guys. He can be added to your rewards by increasing your pledge level by +$15.

yup, it's rules, and it's quite a decent price actually. I do hope I'll have the funds together by january 7th; I sure don't have 'em now

At 285k I have lined up the last expansion for the core box, a permanent upgrade that will forever change every single copy of the game! If we hit the goal, I will be adding the Fur Armor Kit, a few more sculpted pieces of gear to deck the survivors out with and a new Settlement Location where all of this can be crafted! It will also open up a few new innovations allowing people to strategize with the advantages of staying primitive and getting spiritual with their inner beasts.

I hope that means we'll be getting more expansions, but that they'll only be Kickstarter for now?

Because otherwise it is a bit earlier to be closing off this particular avenue, I think!

All that talk of the 'final permanent expansion' threw me for a loop.

A suspect a semantic trick, and we'll get expansions that won't be part of the retail set and/or that we'll have to buy separately now too then...

Ah, when I said avatar, I meant specifically images people could use as profile images in various places. Sorry to excite, its a bit more mundane then I lead on!

I am now here, have read everything up to this point and am ready to participate! I also agree with you, I would love to take this opportunity to add more of the back catalog and allow fans that missed out a chance to get otherwise very hard to get miniatures. I cannot give any discounts on the resin ( kickstarter / amazon already takes 11% out of whatever is raised ) because they have a fixed cost and a very slow time line. You didn't ask about that, but I figured I would make that clear here too.

I want this thread to be *official, so to speak. Is there anyway for the OP to change the thread name? Or would it be better if I went ahead and created a new one?

P.S. My mind is totally blown with how well this is doing, I did not expect it to grow so fast and the numbers of emails, kickstarter messages / comments makes it difficult to keep up, BUT this is my focus now and I will do my best to get back to each and every single one.

Thank you very much for responding to my idea/suggestion. Just to clarify, I'm not looking for discounts - I'd happily pay full price for the existing KD stuff. It's the unavailability that's the problem. If you could make some of those amazing, classic models available, I know I wouldn't be the only one adding them on to my pledge (I'd probably actually recant my previous request and ask you to offer LESS so I could keep myself out of the doghouse from buying too many little figurines of buxom, gloriously curvaceous ladies...)

Looking forward to more developments!
