So I have been reading around and it seems my next purchase will be EE's. That being said when looking in to them i've read the plastics are much smaller then the older metal ones, especially if you place the plastics next to the UA. I was just wondering if somoene could snap a photo of a plastic and metal EE next to each other or the plastic next to the UA?

If you're in a hurry you can find a fair amount of photos like this floating around the PP boards. At any rate I wouldn't really say they are "Much Smaller" it's certainly a noticeable difference mostly up close, it's not going to be anything that's going to look particularly weird while playing a game at arm's length.

I can wait, no mad rush to buy the models right now. main reason im asking is I got in a metal battlebox and already had a plastic heavy. The net said it was a small difference....... it's more liek the plastic is the heavy and the metal is a medium jack. Much as I prefer metal the size difference is driving me nuts.

The difference between the metal/plastic Crusader-chassis is a bit more pronounced than for the infantry, though it's mostly in the legs. To be honest though if the difference in those kits bothers you that much, chances are you not going to really like the difference in the plastic and metal errants. Your best bet would be to buy the metals dudes off e-bay or the like (lots still floating arond).

I have the plastic KE at home at any rate, and they use the same bodies as the KEE. I'll try to do a comparison photo when I get back.

Check out warstore and minituremarket, they both have a lot of the older metal stuff (including the battle boxes and warpacks)

The jack difference is intense. Thanks for the offer to snap a photo for me. I am hoping to get some off here or see if warstore has a good deal on black friday.

I literally JUST posted this picture for some one on the PP boards:

@ Chongara: As someone who regularly fields both metal and plastic Errants on the same field, it's very noticeable, even from gaming distance. It's not just height, the metals have broader shoulders(the plastics are all around smaller, even though it's only by a little) and different heads, as well as the differences in the weapon sizes(the plastic crossbows are twice the size while the swords are smaller and a different design) and the model designs(metals have the belt and straps that the plastics lack and the plastics have metal gauntlets instead of bare hands and leather cuffs).

Which are which, LOL? I can't see a difference.

I have a min unit of the metal and the UA and senschal. I guess I should get more metal ones before they are gone, eh?

Lol.

Sorry, tagged them in the PP thread, but forgot to here.

It goes Plastic, Metal, Plastic, Metal.

To be fair, I did mention that the metals have straps and leather arm bands/cuffs, which is a noticeable difference in the picture.
