So I was watching this programme on the Military channel about the universe and it got me thinking, is there any fluff that involves black holes. Stuff like ships and planets getting sucked in and all that because I haven't come across any yet, so could someone point me in the right direction please, cheers.

Come into my web, said the spider to the fly.
Come rest your wings, and let us talk eye to eye.
For I am a spider, and you are the fly. Now that you are here, let us sit, and say hi.
But I have have no morsel to share, nor anything to eat. But wait, what is that stickiness upon your feet.
Ah now I have you, now I can eat. Now I can enjoy you, or store you as meat.
For I am the spider, and you are the fly. How else could it have gone, between one such as you, and one such as I.

Isn't there a mention of a Black Hole-In-A-Box in the Dark Eldar codex , possibly Vect's fluff ? Don't have my codex on hand right now .
Also , don't think it's what the OP was after .

The Perdus Rift (not sure if that is the right name) is near the Tau empire and is a mix of a Warp time distortion and maybe a black hole (we don't know where, when and if objects sucked in come out)

Vortex grenades - the most potent man-portable weapon in the galaxy - create an artificial rift in reality that sucks stuff into the Warp. The effect was likened to a "miniature black hole".
Also, I just wanted to say that I approve of the little typo in the thread title. Thanks for the smirk.

When I write this, the Dakka page quote reads: Back Holes, Brace for Impact!
I laughed.
Perhaps in 40K, Black Holes themselves are just warp portals between reality and the warp

Well, when compared to the other legion of threats that can face you in space... an object that just sucks you in if you get too close doesn't seem very noteworthy in comparison. They probably exist but the Imperial Navy just disregards them as merely another part of space.

Other than what has been mentioned thus far, other black holes briefly detailed in the fluff tend to be C'tan-made, they created black holes that swallowed entire solar systems while warring with one another.

There is mention of black holes and warp holes in the ork codex. Wish i had mine ti quote some but don't atm. But it says that some battle barges the orks have get sucked into them only to come out being a much larger ork army. (I guess they found life or planets on the other side and grew from taking them over.

planets don't generally get 'sucked in' into a black hole, there are believed to be black holes in the centres of galaxies. For a planet to get sucked into a black hole buy suprise (i.e. without taking millions of millions of years) the black hole would have to be created near the planet, the reason for this is that like all objects in space they have a gravity well, with a 'horizon', anything that gets closer to the black hole than the horizon will get pulled towards the centre. Everything beyond the black hole would be just happily move around it.
ships would be even less likely due to the fact that they have sensors (able to determine a black hole's position) and engines able to evade going over its horizon. most likely even those that do get caught would have enough time to enter the warp, or in the case of Necrons just leave using FTL engines.
A far more dangerous event is a supernova, a sun that goes supernova can effect space up to a maximum of 8 light years, so not only would it destroy the system it is in it could effect multiple systems around it.

Remember black hole are not a proved thing. "proofs" of them can be explained otherwise (and most of them are in fact three or four-hand "maybe").
technically, black holes can't even exist by the same and exact rules that prove their existence (it's the most goofy thing in the "standard model". Basically, the necessary speeds of rotation at the equator and at the poles are mutually exclusives).
Honestly, i ceased to believe in black hole and in the "standard model" years ago. Too much impossibilities. Plasma universe is the new "Oh, but that thing work, and with just things we can see !", for me.
----
But since W40K is sci-fi, remember a black hole has no bigger attraction than a star of the same mass for a same distance. Standard example : If the sun morph in a black hole, you will notice the change in light and heat, but not in gravitation.

There's a super massive black hole in the center of the galaxy. If there was another one in the Galaxy, it wouldn't be the Milky Way anymore.

So I was watching a stargate episode, the one to do with a black hole. It hinted at the gravity field is the cause of time slowing, so in theory that would mean if you were to get sucked in to you it would seem like seconds to die but really it could be hours, days, months or even years! (that would truly suck)
So to round up my question is does gravity affect the passage of time? (I'm a slight dislexic, not stupid)

It is theorized that it can. The dense gravitational field compresses time and makes it flow more slowely.
Of course we arn't exactly sure what time is or how to effect it so its really all theory at this point. And I doubt anyone will ever be willing to get close enough to a black hole to test the theory.
The only solid thing we know about time is that as an object approaches the speed on light time slows down for that object. So someone traveling at the speed of light becomes semi-frozen in time. A journy from their perspective of 2 months will have taken several years on say Earth, the exact ratio depends on the exact speed.
Thats why travel at or near the speed of light poses a problem.
BTW: loved that episode

According to the Navis Primer, on the scale of the galaxy, normal stellar bodies such as super novas and black holes simply don't have the impact of even the tiniest warp storm. To quote,
...even the smallest of Warp storms makes black holes, hypernovas, dark nebulas, and vacuum instability fronts appear pathetically insignificant.
Hence, such things do exist in 40k but have next to no impact on warp travel and a negligible impact on the worlds surrounding them.

And since a Black Hole is probably not going to have anything of value nearby there is no reason for the IoM or anybody else to go near one.
