I've got an unopened '80's space ork battlewagon still in the shrink wrap in my closet. Was wondering if anybody knows how much it would be worth? Can't find any on ebay. Hope this is in the right place. Thanks for any help.

Hmm, good question. I don't recall a Battlewagon being produced by GW back then. Perhaps you've misidentified it?

Try looking under buggy because I know they had a metal kit for that, or truck, which they made in plastic.

Is it an armorcast battlewagon? Some of the old Armorcast stuff is quite valuable to collectors (some isn't...). .

If you've got an armorcast battlweagon I'd definitely check on Ebay for "completed auctions" for "Armorcast Battlewagon" to see what they're going for. It's a very iconic RT/Epic design that appeals to many collectors and it will likely fetch a good sum.

Edit: Just saw the post you made. If it's in the shrink, it's a collectors item, as is just about anything RT era in it's original packaging. Stick it on ebay for a nice high starting bid and see what you get.

Copyright says 1990. It's a GW plastic kit, not armorcast. Can't find any auctions on ebay of boxed kits.

It is a GW kit, it was released back in the Ere We Go/Freebootaz era.

New in box and unopened, I'd start the bidding at $100 and see how you go.

Easily $100, if not a lot more.

Yup easiily $100

Check completed auctions, Craigs list ads and see if there have been any traded on the swap sites for a rough value.

Personally I would set the auction at comfortable starting price then watch as the bids climb.

That's probably what I'll do. Rogue trader land raiders go for $200 on ebay, so maybe battlewagons do too.

Battlewagons may go for more, as they're rarer.

Way rarer. I was an active gamer at the time and just couldn't get hold of one even then. It got deleted almost as soon as it came out. I suspect that there was some sort of problem with the mold. Good luck!

The Armorcast battlewagon was a slightly modified version of this kit. The crew compartment was enlarged and the engine modified from one cylinder to two cylinders.

Its sad that GW discontinued the plastic kit as it was a very cool kit, but it did give Armorcast a chance to produce it in resin.

Was an excellent kit, by far my fav ork vehicle!

I can't believe I forgot about that!! My mistake Rbb. Personally, I'd list it at $50 or $75 to get them drooling. You've got a great piece there, especially since it's mint in box. Good luck

Last one i saw went for £70 and that was built and coverd with paint and slightly damaged with parts missing. I would say start it at £70
