Hey everyone I was wondering where I can find information on ally rules. Mainly who can ally with whom. If anyone could save me the time and tell me who the necron can ally with that would be great! I looked through my codex and couldn find any information on the topic. Mostly I am hoping to ally with tau and build a combined force.

I may be a noob, but you sir are a noob hater!

I don“t think we would be allowed to tell that.
However, it is in the main rule book.

The rules for this stuff is so stupid. GW really needs a reality check. But thanks I found the section.

The entire ruleset for 40k is pants-on-head-drunken-stupid.

No use picking out just one part of them.

Reality has no place in a game featuring motile fungus creatures and space elves that shoot ninja stars.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Lol I was talking about how we can't state or discuss things in the rule book. This prohibition is provably why my friends and I discovered 40k by accident as opposed to word of mouth.

You can discuss 'things in the rulebook'. Posting rules quotes in a rules discussion is fine. We just ask for posters to not copy rules from the rulebook just so someone doesn't have to open up the rulebook and look at the appropriate page. The forum is not a substitute for actually owning a rulebook.
