I had to do the same. I went ahead and gave myself a hard limit of Herald of Death. Fortunately, the pinups haven't appealed to me, and I'm pretty picky about expansions. I'm almost to the $300, and I think Spidicules could very well push me over the edge into it.

Spidecules will probably be a $40 Major Expansion.

And we've got at least 'The King" as another Major Expansion looming on the horizon.

This is getting expensive...

Good thing it doesn't end until after Christmas!

Have there actually been stretch goals added to Survivor? Or is it all Herald of Death now for the "freebies"?

im curious as well, this kickstarter has so many options, its confusing my simple mind...how do all the armors work? do you dress your character like a doll, or convert a new model everytime you upgrade your armor? I pledged for 100 to get the game...do I not get any of the stretch goals?

Armor is not an upgrade to your model, it's a different kit (i.e. complete), and the FAQ said something about there are plenty of options, and it isn't WYSIWYG in game, so it's mostly preference (though there is theoretically the option to magnetize, they're not designed for it).

Stretch goals- you get any that say they're added to the base game, split decently evenly between extras to purchase, survivor bonuses, and game bonuses.

There were at the start... for a long time it's been "pay to play" except for Herald of Death, though.

In which case you're still paying to play!

Looks like he's fou d the way to get the most out of this campaign's audience though, and things are clicking away.

I suspect we'll see a few more + $15's and + $20's along with 2 or 3 more + $40 Major Expansions as well to really drive the total higher.

I've been pondering this and as I have a good friend who is getting it, I think my doing so is unnecessary. Add to that the fact that I try to support small / needful KS, and am trying to reduce game systems, and need to stop paying for things still a year away, even at a discount... if someone would like my black Friday slot, PM me and I'll let you know when it'll be available (edit: spoken for).

Still want this to rock! But I didn't know CMON was involved at the start... their KS always do so well, I'm not needed. I also still really want to see good plastic from them. I have every confidence Adam will do so... but he doesn't need me when this looks to be going way past a million, and I'll redirect that to my current projects, instead.

Good on ya, RiTides. Even knowing it's a year out doesn't make it easier for me to drop the KS discount.

Also, disappointed that we didn't get any Dung Beetle Knight armor. Seemed a shoe-in for it!

So people pledge for what you want before the end of the KS, you might not be able to add cash for extras like you're used to..........

I find it hard to believe there'll be no way to add, if necessary- makes sense to have the right amount down, though.

It is a bit of an annoyance, but not one that you'll have to worry about anymore!

Just so its clear. CMON has only recently been involved in the campaign and it's only to boost marketing support. We agreed to that news of the campaign would be included in 4 of their emails they send out to their fans every saturday and to doing a special miniature together.

The post on cmon front page news, the facebook and the callout from their current kickstarter Guilds of Cadwallon, were all just... unexpected bonuses! I am extremely thankful as they went above and beyond and have put their name behind me because of our partnership and they are proud of how the well the kickstarter is doing without their direct involvement.

To their credit, I will say that Chern pretty much invented this style of running kickstarter campaigns. Be it luck, or genius or a bit of both they set the trend and I am merely following it, adding my own personal touch and trying my best to stay on top of the CRAZY amount of communication it requires!

I am happy to be working with CMON and there is a chance that when the game is finally released ( after kickstarter rewards have been fulfilled ) we will look into publishing it together. Our relationship has been extremely healthy and very simple, I send them miniatures and they sell them. Nothing more complex then that, no investments and no extra dependencies.

I like the idea of my game being associated with Zombiecide, Sedition Wars & Super Dungeon Explore. They are helping bring the type of games I love into the market. Post GW's Specialist Games we had very very little in terms of quality hybrid tabletop miniature games. And now, I finally have some miniature games I have time to play with my friends on weekends. ( i do love warhammer & 40k, but i just don't have the time to dedicate to them right now )

It is not just one of these games that draws me to wanting to work with CMON, but ALL of the. And yes there is a big big difference.

Thanks for the post, KD! I'll still follow with interest. I wasn't involved in any of those KS- they just didn't need me and, for better or worse, they're the gorilla of the KS world.

Post Kick-starter--are you planning on running a full store for the monsters? I ask--as while I do not have time for another game in my life--I would certainly like to pick up some of your monsters and paint them.

@AgeofEgos, they are planned to be available they my webstore yes. When and in what capacity I honestly cannot commit to saying at this time.

I can understand why there wouldn't be an option to add more stuff after the KS ends. It's a one man show, and with 2600+ backers at the moment, it would be a management nightmare for him to track who added what and how to collect payment. It's one thing when it's a small project and you might only have a dozen or so backers who need something extra, but this is way beyond those small numbers.

Well, things have surely clicked along since the new stretch goals. Can't wait to unlock Spidcules, and see what other Monsters we have to go!

People dig the dung beetle - $27K and 56 new backers - and the best day in almost two weeks!

I think I'm about to up my pledge to Herald level. Just so much nice stuff and I love the game play.

Not terribly excited for the spider (ill never be able to display it as my wife is horrified of them) but incredibly excited for the C'MON Nico.

Earlier in the campaign you mentioned that you'd look into the EU postage/customs situation. I was just wondering if there was any news on this at all please? A couple of the CMON campaignslseem to be getting distribution through the UK as well as the US, is there any chance of jumping onto their distributor here?

That depends on how important it is to have the resin version of Adam & Anna and the four survivors. If it's not a must, then I'd suggest going $155. You'd also have $145 for extras if you wanted to reach the $300 Herald of Death mark (that gives you two free expansions: Lion Knight and Manhunter).

Unfortunately I still have no official word on this. Currently I am 100% confident I can pack a box full of rewards and ship it to the correct backer, however when you add another link to the chain things instantly become more complicated.
