I would first like to state that these are magnificent.

I would then state that the Knight of the Flame looks like he has a gold mustache.

I would finally state that that just makes them better.

Yo Dawgs, I heard you like grimdark, so I put grimdark in yo grimdark in yo grimdark in yo universe that is obviously grimdark.

Silver was painted using an airbrush. After cleaning all the flash I have sprayed Vallejo grey primer. Than I sprayed them wita Vallejo Air steel paint. Shadows was done with Vallejo Air Black Metal. After that i have sprayed all armour parts with satin varnish.

In the end I was covering metal parts with very thinned down wash made of washing liquid, Vallejo glaze medium and blue paint. It was very time consuming process.

Process was like this:
- cover armour with wash
- wait a bit
- try to remove wash with water in exposed areas (this will give nice bluish silver color)

All golf details were painted with Vallejo Liquid Gold paints.

Well done! I'm playing with my new airbrush and trying to settle on a grey knight scheme, thinking purple armor as the Vallejo has beautiful colors. I'm wondering what you're using for masking tape to do the force weapons? I have some orange tamiya tape for my aviation models but it seems to pull the base coat right off. Any tips? I am using Vallejo air paints aswell

I am using the same tape
If you have problems with pulling your basecoat maybe you don't let the paint dry enough. Another solution of your problem is to stick that tape to some flat and not dirty surface in order to weaken the tape's glue. Remember to thin down the paint (even if it Vallejo Air paints. I am using Vallejo airbrush thinner in ratio 4-5 drops of paint to 1 drop of thinner. It works perfectly preventing the paint to dry to fast in my airbrush)

I hope it helps

If you have any questions, just ask.

Looks great! I have 2 suggestions, however. One is to put some scribbles on the purity seals and/or books (personally I feel it makes it look more complete), and the other is to deepen the shading on the armour. I like contrast, haha. But those are just my personal opinions, otherwise they look fantastic!

I used that same masking tape for my Grey Knights (on their shoulder pads) and the first squad I didn't water the paint down enough so it was a bit raised, but the second squad I learned from that mistake and it turned out great. I didn't have the tape peel any of the paint off either.

Tbh I hate purity seals with some strange curvy lines on it so I skipped painting it.

Maybe if models where bigger I would try to do that.
