With my car selling earlier in the year I have been getting back into other hobbies I have dropped.

One of these is paintball, so as a Christmas present to myself I decided to buy an Etek 4 Titan. It's a work of art! Can't wait to use it.

Why do they make paintball markers in such stupid colors though? Isn't something like realtree or multicam better? The pattern of your marker would be neat, if it wasn't black and white!

And most competition paintball matches are played speed ball style these days from what I know, so big colorful inflated terrain in a set, relatively small area.

OP, are you primarily a speed baller or do you touch on scenario play?

I used to be into using speedball guns, but slowly began to be disenchanted with the paintball community, or more specifically the speed ballers. Taking the game so seriously, especially just doing walk on games or rec play, that they forget to have fun doing it.

I eventually just got rid of my 09 Ego and switched over to dual TPX's, and once I get a sufficiently cool sniper set up for my x7 I'll play around with that too. If I ever just start to drown in cash I'll get a Dukie Shotgun, or perhaps that airrowgun rig.

Also trying to get my hands on a 98 custom for cheap. I run anti tank duty at oklohoma d-day every year I can, and I'm tired of borrowing someone else's gun.

I do enjoy paintball, but I tend to stick to airsoft, I really enjoy MilSim. There's some awesome matches for that here in the US if you can get a decent team together. Plus it's an excuse to go camping.
