Ok, so right now I'm working on my Ulthwe Eldar. It's going pretty good, but I have hit a stopping point, I don't really know how to paint a Shuriken Catapult. I have gotten to the point where it is "based" bleached bone, but now what? What washes do I use, etc. Thanks everyone!

I did mine with three coats of gryphonne sepia highlighted up with bone/white mixture.

Did you just wash the whole catapult or just the lower areas?

The best advice I can give is to make sure you pick out all the soulstones on them. Given the sparce color scheme they really help to bring life to the figure.

I have done something like this in the past, but went with Ogryn Flesh for the wash for a more warmer/'fleshy' tone.

So here are some different washes that people recommended to me:

Sepia
Mud
Ogryn Flesh

Now do you do a heavy wash, or light in the resses areas. If anyone wants to give me a early christmas present, they will find/ make a step by step guide and post the link here
